It’s your turn. And the pressure is on. Everyone is expecting something funny, and there you sit, realizing the pressure is on.
It’s okay. You can do this. I’ve been coming to this Website for years, and you never fail to disappoint.
Well, a couple of you. You know who I mean. But not you. No, you always come through. And now’s the time.
What’s on your mind? What would you like to talk about? Got a link to share? A joke to tell?
It’s Monday Night Open Thread. Who wants to start?

Once upon a time these guys were young men in their prime…now they’re much like me. I tell my grandchildren storiers just like these… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsdSOhW1mU
What! A thumbs down…I should turn you into a Newt!! I would too, except I suppose you’d just get better.

It ain’t a riot unless they’re wearing black masks an black hoodies!
Speaking of snowboarding, I’ve been wondering recently if Hogan and his “heroes” were actually speaking German when they were in disguise as gestapo or wermacht or whatever. We just heard English because we are the tv audience. Surely speaking English with a German accent wouldn’t be enough to fool the Nazis.
Or should I repeat to myself it’s just a show and I should really just relax?
Just relax.
They were actually speaking Swedish.
I’d tell you a chemistry joke but I know I wouldn’t get a reaction.
It’s May Day!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZ9myHhpS9s
The true significance of that “budget compromise” hasn’t sunk in yet across the Internet.

Read that – and then look ahead.
True, the budget stinks, but I wouldn’t worry about Trump’s priorities being “scuttled” just yet. I’ve read “The Art of the Deal”. He plays the long game.
Lorenz Hart, one of the great lyricists for the American songbook (he was Richard Rodgers’s lyricist until shortly before he died, after which Oscar Hammerstein II was), was born May 2, 1895. A few of the tunes to which he wrote lyrics are “The Lady Is a Tramp”, “My Funny Valentine”, and “Blue Moon”.
