Steve McQueen, who starred in the movie Bullitt (a movie whose popularity I have never understood), was born March 24, 1930, in Beech Grove, Indiana, not far from Indianapolis.
And now for a riddle:
Q. What is the difference between terrorism and PMS?
A. You can negotiate with a terrorist.
PMS, as far as I can tell, stands for “permissible manslaughter”.
Looks like like everyone but you and I were out partying last night. As far as Bullitt goes I think it’s the car chase that makes it a stand out movie. Without the car chase it would be just another cop movie probably considered average at best.
Gotta love the cameo by Greg Kihn at the end of Weird Al’s video….
