[Astronauts falling on the Moon, NASA Apollo Mission Landed on the Lunar Surface] (Viewer #153,371)
I’ve seen a lot of moon footage. None of it this.
Also, it made me think about how that fragile little suit was all that stood between those astronauts & death by vacuum.
Personally, I’d be a lot more leery of rolling around on a surface covered with random sharp rocks.
I heard the NFL will be having some exhibition football games on the moon to see if the concussion rates go down.
Coming soon – a giant sign on the moon. It will say…
Future home of the Oakland Raiders.
Won’t they have trouble keeping the footballs properly inflated?
Only if Brady isn’t retired yet…lololol
I can see the headline now: “Giants Leap for Mankind.”
…One small step for Odell Beckam..lololol
“The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress” discusses the problem people accustomed to Earth gravity have adjusted to lower gravity environments . The problem is that although the gravity is lower inertia is not. So moving in a straight line one can do relatively effortlessly. But stopping or changing direction is where people slip up as those action require the same force as it would on earth.
Then I bet curling or bowling would be the perfect sports to play on the moon!
Don’t you trust Playtex? They made the suits.
