Thursday Night Open Thread

Well, now. It took me over a month, but I just discovered what I had done.

Back in late April, I posted a video about “Weird” Al Yankovic done in the style of Hamilton. The next night, I posted it again. But I didn’t mean to.

Here’s the deal. On Thursday, April 26, I did post this, as I intended.

However, I posted the same video the next night. That was a mistake. I meant to post something else.

What was that something else?

You’ll find out tomorrow night.

In the meantime, it’s Thursday Night Open Thread. And, if you post something you posted before, I can’t complain. But, I would like you post whatever is on your mind. Yes, even if it’s a repeat.

So, what’s on your mind?

A new Trump executive order makes it easier to fire underperforming government workers.

Step 2: Make a reality show out of firing them. The revenue from the show’s ad sales could replace the income tax.

They show the real-time version at the end. It’s interesting, but not nearly as satisfying.

60s, 70s, 80s, 90s: Which decade do you love the most and why?

90’s, since that’s the decade closest to the 2020’s, which is when I expect my phone’s battery life to catch up to my desire to use it incessantly.

Also, it was the decade where Windows software stopped sucking*, and Doom was invented.

*technically, Windows Vista briefly re-started the suck. It was like the Atari E.T. of operating systems.

Modern Magic

Hey! I’m in a urban-fantasy short story anthology called Modern Magic! It’s like I’m being accepted by my peers (don’t let them know about you guys).

Anyway, it’s a ton of great stories (I’ve read them all, and they’re good)… plus one by me! It’s a really weird one. Barely fits as urban fantasy. But there it is.

And best of all, the book is absolutely FREE… plus a dollar. But a dollar is nothing these days, so that really is free (basically). So just buy it. There’s nothing to lose. Except a dollar. Which is nothing.

The New Bitter Clinger

Hillary Clinton criticized Fox News as “delivering propaganda“, saying “we need more outlets for reliable information”.

Well, until a reliable source explains why Hillary wore a winter coat in a Memorial Day parade, I’m going with “Drakh Keeper“.
