I love “Weird” Al Yankovic.

There’s a broadcast network called Comet that is quickly becoming my favorite channel.
They show Made For MST3K movies that are awesome.
Just watched Zone Troopers. A few GIs in WWII team up with aliens to fight Nazis. SS Nazis.
The only jarring note was the one guy who obviously learned to be a GI from watching Jack Black in Tropic Thunder.
Now that’s a movie I’d like to see remade with CGI.
We need more B movies! That’s a lost art in today’s Hollywood.
I’ve seen Zone Troopers and it really is a stinker way more than it’s a true “B” movie. While Hollywood has lost it’s knack for making true “B” movies, it’s ability to make real stinkers is completely unabated. Rampage, for example, comes to mind. Also not a true “B” movie but, as far as I’m concerned…a real stinker.
But didn’t they stop showing actual episodes of MST3K?
They did stop. You have to supply your own smide comments.
Charles Hard Townes, who invented the maser (just like a laser, but for microwaves, rather than light), and, in the process, paved the way for the invention of the laser, was born July 28, 1915, in Greenville, South Carolina.
I see that Basil has mentioned jokes. Here’s one of my favorites:
Q. What is the proper form of address for the governor of Illinois?
A. Will the defendant please rise?
