I’m talking about “The Room,” sometimes called the worst movie ever. If it’s worse than “Manos: The Hands Of Fate,” I either need to watch it now, or run away as fast and far as I can.
Maybe I’ll watch it this weekend. All y’all come over. Bring pizza.

Why did you buy it in the first place?
To watch it.
Mission not accomplished.
I still got time. I’m not dead yet.
Do you feel happy?
I think I’ll go for a walk.
The Room is a masterpiece
I’ll stick with Plan 9 from outer space.

I understand. I own “Cannibal, The Musical”.
I guess none of you have ever seen Sharkenstein? If it’s not the worst movie (other than Manos) I don’t know what is.
The Room isn’t a bad movie. It is perfect. It expertly navigates the line of bad/boring so that you can’t look away, can’t fast forward, and are just transfixed by the perfect balance of awful, entertaining, and inoffensive.
Take 1 scene out, change one word, and the spell is broken.
Best enjoyed with a glass of scotchka.
Manos, Hands of Fate is bad because it’s slow, boring and painful to watch. The Room is not.
Also, if you’re not aware, there’s a The Room video game.

There was a Manos game app. And, yeah, I bought it.
‘The Room’ can easily be watched in Fast-forward mode in 10 minutes or less. It’s a tough call as to which is more irrelevant; the plot (there is none), the dialogue or the imagery. 🙂
