Eminem has won and Oscar and some Grammys for his music, so somebody really likes it. And that’s fine. I’m just not the target audience, and it shows.

Who wants to start?
Not a fan of rap, either, but to give credit where credit is due, this is a well crafted song and of course autobiographical. It is not a song demeaning of women or self-aggrandizing as so many rap songs are, but instead focuses on his struggles to succeed in the music entertainment industry.
There are some Beastie Boys songs I kind of like too, as well as Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio (add of course Weird Al’s outstanding parody of it, Amish Paradise), among a few others.
But as a whole, not my thing, either.
