Ray Davies was a great poet. His songs usually tell a story.
I like the Kinks a lot. I saw them once and it was a great show.
Except for Lola. It gets a little boring when they do the same thing every time, it’s on their live album. They start to play Lola, stop and start to walk off and then get “convinced” to play it after all. They almost didn’t play it at the show I saw, people were pretty bored with the expected deal.
Sleepwalker is my favorite Kinks album.
