When I was in the Navy back then, “THE BAND’S last performance took place.
My bunkmate who was from Huntsville Alabama, blasted “theNIIIIGHT THEY DROVE OL’ DIXIE DOWWWWN!!!!” for a couple of weeks straight while he cried and slammed Jack Daniels until I climbed up on his bunk one night with a K-BAR and threatened to cut his nuts off and send them to his parents.
