Well, Yeah. And There’s Limited Scientific Evidence That Dolf Lundgren and Jackie Chan Could Have Beaten Me in a Fight

NPR Finally Issues a Correction After Getting Fact-Checked Into Oblivion About Transgendered Males in Women’s Sports

National Public Radio issued a correction to their tweet that proclaimed there is “limited scientific evidence of physical advantage” trans male athletes have over female athletes after the international governing body for track and field banned trans athletes.

Correction: An earlier tweet incorrectly stated there is limited scientific evidence of physical advantage. Existing research shows that higher levels of testosterone do impact athletic performance. But there’s limited research involving elite trans athletes in competition.— NPR (@NPR) March 26, 2023

  1. In all the speed and strength competitions, the records for females are between the records for 15 and 16 year old males. The records for males are typically set by 25 year old males. The world’s fastest woman in the 100 yard dash is over 0.5 seconds behind the 500th fastest male. The world’s fastest woman in the marathon is over 1.5 miles behind the 500th fastest male. In both cases, that’s an emarassing gap. When either Venus or Serena Williams stated that they thought they and their sister could beat any man below 200 in the men’s rankings, the man ranked 205 took them up on the challenge. He admitted he’d stayed out late drinking the night before the match, played golf the morning of, and did no extra training for the match. They played a best of 3 match, with Venus playing one set and Serena playing the other. He pounded them into the ground, 6-0, 6-1.

Hundreds of thousands of years of evolution, where women selected who to mate with based on size, speed, and strength, have made men bigger, faster, and stronger than women. Pound for pound, men’s muscles are stronger than women’s muscles. Male bones are denser/stronger. None of that is going to be overcome quickly without gene therapy, and even then, I’d expect enhanced women to still not measure up to enhanced men.

  2. You know, after all the recent “Send Thugs” incidents, I am more than happy to arrange a series of expiriments so that we could procure the scientific evidence of your “Dolph and Jackie” conjecture.
