“If I would’ve seen that” is incorrect.

“If I had seen that” is correct. Past perfect.

“Had I seen that” is too much to expect.

Please make a note of it. Thanks. It’ll make watching the news less stressful.

Present imperfect.

    • I’ve always wanted to have been born in the late ’40s, early 50’s. Had that happened, would I have wanted to punch hippies as much as I want to punch today’s liberals? I feel punching hippies would have been more socially acceptable, as in “But officer it was a hippie!”. “Oh, okay, continue good citizen”.
