I was watching Rifftrax, which if you don’t know is just Mystery Science Theater 3000 without the silhouettes at the bottom of the screen but with the same commenters.
Anyway the movie was Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon. It’s an action/intrigue martial arts movie with vaguely European actors and hot babes acting all serious about… something intriguing, I suppose.
With Rifftrax, unlike with MST3K, if there’s an occasional boob and/or boobs in the shot, it won’t necessarily edit out that scene. Anyway I saw evidence of that once in a Rifftrax movie starring the Achy-Breaky Heart singer as the hero.
Anyway this movie seemed to be a prime candidate for just that kind of scene. But here’s the problem. Every time the scene hints at the next line involving some combination of “shower” or “let’s take a shower” or “that was an intense action scene, we should probably clean up in the shower”, NOTHING HAPPENS!
Don’t get me wrong, the comments by Mike, Tom Servo, and Crow (not their actual names), well Mike is Mike’s real name) are outstanding and hilarious.
Just be ready for the tease factor in this movie. The girls are hot though.
