Obama unleashes his war strategy on the primary

Be fearful. I guess Princess Obama wasn’t prepared to sustain losses in debates, and since he was faced with actual questions instead of fluffy pillows, satin sheets, and appeasement last week, he’s decided the best strategy for winning the election is to turn tail and run away. I’d hate to see the scurrying if he were to actually break a nail.
Captain Ed:

Even worse, after last Wednesday, it looks like a retreat. Obama got a bloody nose, and suddenly he doesn’t want to appear on national TV, even up against a cupcake like Katie Couric. The strategy may be sound, but only if one has no confidence in Obama’s ability to stand up to tough questioning. In fact, his withdrawal from the debate appears to be an admission of exactly that.

No surprises there. It’s basically the same as his war strategy. When things don’t go our way for a while, let’s give up and leave. I would say that Obama’s political strategy actually leaves us better off (opposite of what his war strategy would do, obviously), but unfortunately, the people voting for Hopey McChangerson just want sunshine-and-rainbows speeches. They don’t care about things like issues, character, patriotism, and balls.

  1. I’d hate to see the scurrying if he were to actually break a nail.
We did see it – the real reason he didn’t want to talk to reporters in the diner is that he broke a nail from the effort of cutting through that waffle and he would be sooooo embarassed if they saw it. Heck, the last time he had a hangnail, he was so mortified that he didn’t change out of his pajamas or leave his campaign bus for a week!

  2. While this is a great post, and covers all the bases quite nicely, I do have a small area of concern.
It seems, for an unbiased, hard news and original reporting site such as imao.us, to have a slight pro-Obama slant. Now, I’m not going to charge you with being pro-Obama, but clearly when you say “Princess Obama” you are treating him like royalty.
And your concern over his hypothetical nail-breaking is touching, but don’t you think it would be better left to opinion pieces, not to news stories?
There are other minor concerns, but generally the point is the same clear pro-Obama slant I’ve just demonstrated, not that I’d charge you with being pro-Obama.
    Just saying.

  3. Poor Obambi… I just hope he’s using enough moisturizer so he doesn’t get that ashy look that afflicts those with darker skin, even if he is pretty much white. Sure, his dad was sorta black, but where Obambi is concerned, it’s like what Dave Chapelle said about Wayne Brady: He makes Bryant Gumble look like Malcolm X.

  4. Ah-ha! I thought Obama seemed a bit whiter since John Edwards dropped out–the two must have merged in some disgusting, I-can’t-quite-think-of-the-right-movie-reference sort of way. This explains everything!
I accept no responsibility for whatever horrid imagery you get from that.

  5. The man lacks the moral character and convictions to do his current job. We elect Senators to use their best judgment to decide on laws for us. That is obviously too hard for him. Why does anyone want him for president. 7 years ago, Americans wouldn’t even consider someone like this.
“President Obama. Terrorists have hijacked an unknown amount of American airplanes and used them to attack the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Mr. President. Do we have authorization to shoot down airliners that do not respond to radio communication? Yes or no?”
    “Present?!?”

  6. Big Richard
This is exactly what I’ve been talking about. You are using the politics of fear to avert the issues. Why do Americans now work more than ever just to pay their bills? Why does it cost $125.00 to fill up my Mercedes C230 with just super unleaded? Why are we spending billions to rebuild Iraq when arugula is four dollars a pound.
We need to be focused on the issues. Not partisan politics.

  7. When news reached the White House that the Iranians had attacked US troops, President Obama could not be found…it is rumored that after a great deal of searching he was discovered curled up in a fetal position under his desk in the oval office sobbing like a school girl “they just aren’t being fair to me…me…me…me…me…me…” Aids were seen “bagging and tagging” the President for a short ride to the local “hosptial”

  8. Being a Python fan, I can’t help but think of that song from “The Holy Grail” sung by Sir Robin’s minstrels. Maybe Obama needs his own minstrels, singing his praises wherever he goes…oh wait, he does have them…CNN, MSNBC, CBS etc…
    “Brave, brave Obama.
When danger reered its ugly head
he bravely turned his tail and fled…
    brave, brave Obama…”
