“We have heard from many, many schools that the competition has become very unhealthy,” school board Chairman Tom Benton told the paper.
Why does the school board have a chairman? That makes for unhealthy competition among the board members. No one should be named chairman.
Next on the chopping block will be State Championships in sports. Every school sport will receive participant ribbons.
I dread the graduation ceremony that allows all graduates to give a speech. It might take the whole weekend.
