Personally I refer to them as rat hole countries, but that’s because I prefer not to work blue.
I agree with the sentiment, though. Some countries are just sad, disgusting places you want to leave.

Same thing as an Obama economy. for 8 years of <0 economic growth being Bush’s fault, we now have growth everyone ridiculed Trump about. Clearly, it’s an Obama economy.
Oh, and this song was written as a ”wedding present” when Bernie Taupin, the music writer on all of Elton’s hits. I always thought he was a bit but hurt loosing his wing man to a woman.

“Tiny Dancer” is one of my favorite Elton John recordings too, along with “Daniel” and “Yellow Brick Road”.
