America Already Has Enough Patriots

I’ve probably said this before, but it’s worth repeating: If you’re only now thinking of being patriotic, please don’t. America has plenty of good people dedicated to it; it doesn’t need fair-weather friends. If you can’t be there for your country in bad times as well as good, then you’re worthless.

Shame and guilt never amounted to becoming a better person, so why should those libtards feel like Bush ruined their country? As far as I’m concerned, America under Bush has shown that the world had better not f*** with us or we’ll bomb your ass. God bless America.

  3. Plentyobailouts says:

Those fags wouldn’t know patriotism if it bit them in thier hippie arses. F*** them and the one they rode in on. May they go out feet first.

  4. ussjimmycarter says:

These lefty pricks are the ones who have been ashamed of America for years and now want to be patriots? It don’t work like that! They shall all soon be stamping their tiny little feet when The One doesn’t pay their mortgage however! They still only love themselves!

  5. Jimmy says:

    “fair-weather friends”

Meaning, patriots only in peacetime. Don’t worry, the relative peace won’t last. Our enemies are a smellin’ Obama’s weak a$$. It’s what dogs do.

  6. Tyson says:

Dang, that page made me mad. It’s still America no matter which way you slice it, dimwits! The difference is wether you want it to be Orwellian or Free. Let’s just create a huge %*#@ing government that has enough bureaucracy to withstand any attack and any attempt to reduce it. I’m curious, does this mean that Republicans get to be dissenters now? Do we get to quote Thomas Jefferson too? Or must we do what we always have done, follow the raving liberals and attempt to pick up the pieces afterward? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Forget it, I’m gonna go cling bitterly to my guns and my religion.

  7. Joseph says:

    I take issue with this:

    “There’s a left-wing tradition of being systematically opposed to the U.S. government…”

I mean, seriously, the left wing, being systematically opposed to the U.S. government? No, they’re systematically opposed to the U.S. military. Governmental intervention in peoples’ lives they absolutely love.

  8. Plentyobailouts says:

They rode that one in, they can ride that one out. They are no more Americans than the damn canadians and muslems they emulate. I got a patriot for them, right here!

  9. xaetognath says:

This strongly reminds me of the famous Ron Silver story. He was an ardent Democrat supporter back in 1993, and he made famous a verbal exchange he had while helping prepare the first Clinton inauguration. He saw a display of military fighters overhead, and complained to a Clinton aide who told him that: [it was OK because] “those are our jets now.” Thus reassured, he settled down, and ended up so pleased with the situation that he repeated the story to the press later in the day, and we got to hear about it.

  10. xaetognath says:

BTW, I should strongly emphasize that Mr. Silver has since had an awakening, and isn’t nearly so … loopy. He later presented a powerful anti-”Fahrenheit 911″ response when Michael Moore shot his camera off on the subject.

If he can gain wisdom, maybe there’s hope for an idiot like me, too.

Martin Luther said ” If a man is not willing to die for something, he is unfit to live.” These liberals may sound patriotic now, but wait until Zero asks them to serve once the draft starts so he can implement his new socialism. These cowards will be the first to hide, once again proving Martin Luther correct.

    A-rooty-toot-toot-toot!
    A-rooty-toot-toot-toot!
    Obamerkley-amerkley institute!

We’re rough, we’re tough, we’re on the ball!
We’re gruesome one, we’re gruesome all!
We’re unthinkable, stinkable, horrible us –
    HOORAY! We are victorious!

    Now isn’t that too glorious?
    Our nasty team notorious
    Us gruesome griming glorious,
    Us stinkers are victorious!

    We ain’t too neat!
    We ain’t too bright!
Never the less we won tonight –
    HOORAY! We are victorious!

    Obamerkley, we sing to thee,
Our cruel black hearts we bring to thee,
For crime and slimey villainy –
    Obamerkley Academy!

Hail to thee our hallowed halls!
    We got poison ivy walls!
Poo on Harvard, Yale and such!
We got ivy they can’t touch!

    Obamerkley, thy name we praise
We love thy foul and loathsome ways
    Thy crummy criminality –
    Obamerkley A-Cat-A-Me!

we’re rough, we’re tough, we’re on the ball!
we’re gruesome one, we’re gruesome all!
    Unthinkable, stinkable, horrible us
    HOORAY! HOORAY! We are victorious!

It’s weird to me how they don’t even realize how they’ve been taken. Obama so far is looking more conservative than Boooooosh. He’s even keeping Gates! Liberals are such idiots.
A true discussion I had with a lib at the grocery store: “So, you’re still wearing that Obama/Biden pin next to your peace pin?” “Yes!! Isn’t it wonderful?” “You do realize that Obama has adopted Bush’s plan to pull slowly out of Iraq and hired Bush’s Pentagon chief? Right?” “That’s what conservatives believe…” Errrr….so now THEY don’t even believe the press.

  15. seanmahair says:

You absolutely cannot talk to liberals. They have no grasp of reality, the obvious or their own meaninglessness. Instead simply say “Obamalamadingdong is the messiah” and walk quickly away while they are still in the afterglow.

    Works every time.

  16. Rightjabs says:

    Re: #7 Joseph
“Governmental intervention in peoples’ lives they absolutely love.”

On Nanny State issues that’s true–especially controlling guns.

Concerning the enforcement of laws against drugs, gambling, prostitution, abortion, public nudity, underage drinking, pedophilia, gay “marriage”, terrorism, illegal immigration, etc.–they don’t want the government to intervene at all.

  17. Anniee451 says:

Point absolutely well-taken and true, except for one thing. There is nothing “good times” about an administration full of barking moonbats about to take charge. With a barking moonbat senate and house. Rather than just good times as well as bad, let’s point out that you can love the country when you get your way and when you don’t get your way you don’t throw tantrums and hate the country. We all still love the country despite what’s about to happen, and they never did and never will. They love their socialist vision of the US that never existed and was never meant to.

  18. 4 of 7 says:

“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be true.”

You cannot have a proud and chivalrous spirit if your conduct is mean and paltry; for whatever a man’s actions are, such must be his spirit.”

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
There is one safeguard known generally to the wise, which is an advantage and security to all, but especially to democracies as against despots.
    What is it?
    Distrust.”
    - Demosthenes, 384-322 BC.

“The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.”
    - John Philpot Curran, July 10, 1790.

  19. azlibertarian says:

It was only a few weeks ago that we heard that “Dissent is Patriotic”. Now the dissidents are chanting their praise of the Establishment, and I am left wondering how many rounds it will take to be really, really patriotic.

I wish the Voices in My Head would pipe down: They keep repeating: “Of course you can’t go to work tomorrow. You need to stay home and clean the guns.”
