Did Arnold Take My Advice?

I just looked back at this post from earlier this month, and realized that the last item isn’t that funny anymore.

  1. I find it a strange contradiction that you can write such long intricate stories and yet somehow manage to misspell numerous words or get tripped up by that homophone thing.
Maybe you need a ghost writer that you dictate ideas to who will then actually write out your posts, with spell checking even!
Hey don’t feel so bad, it took Hillary three ghost writers to write her book of fiction. Of course the first two ghost writers met with unfortunate “accidents” after a few weeks. And then the manuscript disappeared from her home only to show up a month later in her publisher’s office with missing pages and the last chapter scribbled with red ink in a manic handwriting style on paper ripped out of a spiral-bound notebook.
If she can get published without killing very many people, so can you.

  2. Well the upside is all those endangered rodents, insects and plants are now dead in those burned areas. People can now farm it, build on it, or whatever. The burnt area may now be more valuable than the unburnt areas. Hmmmmm, I wonder how much land that used to have endangered species on it does A. S. own? Will an increase in the value of the land help the tax base of the state?

  3. Toad,
You’re right on about those endangered species. Do you think the tree hugging hippy animals thought of all the endangered species that would die when they spiked those trees that burnt? No, they thought about the logger they were killing. Weren’t they having disputes in that area of the country about whether fish or farmers should have water? Well, it’s solved now. The fish and the water are for the fire.
    God,
Please burn Hollywood down. Burn the star’s houses and destroy the entertainment industry in that part of this nation. Amen.

  4. I find it very bizarre that Feinsteing is now yelling for the thinning of forests. This is such a lampoon caricature of a commie demoncrat it’s scary.
Folks, a lot of folks being burned out are good people. Emails stopped coming in from the couple I know in Coocamonga (sp?). Christians and conservatives of the first degree. They might’ve got hit, I don’t know.
Pray that the conflagration ends just after Hollywood burns down.

  5. You would be surprised at how many people I saw smoking here today. The air quality is still really bad, but there were a few who couldn’t resist the urge to light up. Jeez, what’s wrong with people?!

  6. I don’t smoke but for some strange reason I have this urge to run out and buy a pack. Maybe it’s because I hate people with bad habits bitching about other people’s bad habits in public.

  7. We keep putting water on the fire, but it won’t go out. Obviously the fire doesn’t want us there. It’s a quagmire, we need to pull out. If it saves just one life, it’s worth it.
    Insulting your intelligence,
    The Demoncratic Underground

  8. Darryl, Roger Hedgecock on the Rush Limbaugh show the other day had an unbelievable sound clip and a whole segment on how firefighters were being turned away from the fire because their firefighters’ licenses were from other states than CA, and how trained military firefighters were not allowed to be deployed against the fires back when they first broke out, because of “safety concerns” and “accountability issues”. (As if firefighters were supposed to be kept safe from fires) So it’s already as bad as you imagine.
