All Mediocre Things Come to an End

And thus ends liveblogging, but great things like the Bush presidency keep on going.
I’m not going to bother to stay up to hear about the Senate races (looks like a gain, but we’ll have to wait to hear how Mel does to see if the happy dance shall proceed), so the liveblogging ends with this post.
Man, I had a great speech ready if Kerry won.
Anyway, time to gloat:
In your face terrorist ‘tards! You thought you could beat us by going for the minds of the cowardly and the morally bereft in America, but that’s too small a minority in America to make the difference.
You like getting shot, Islamists. You like getting blown up from far above? You like cowering in caves? Well, you got four more years of it, bitches!
And Satan, fair warning, make some more room in hell!
To everyone who hated the first four years of Bush – and no one hated it more than the terrorists – these next four years are going to be even worse now that Bush doesn’t have to worry about reelection! Boo-yeah!
Goodnight, everybody, and God bless.

  1. thanks, sweetness. this was the best liveblogging i ever saw. yay W! yay Frank J! yay sleep! yay Brit Hume! yay Florida and Ohio!
say, i’d like to thank those Guardian readers who ticked off enough people in Ohio to push the ‘publicans over the edge.
    i’m so stinking sleepy.

  2. Ugh, what a night. It started badly with Zogby’s call for Kerry, but as the states came in, I amused myself with reading the ranting loons on DU (they’re absolutely convinced that Karl Rove controls Osama Bin Laden, that they’ll be sent to concentration camps, the election was stolen, and it was done by way of the Diebold machines and that the darned conservative media won’t give them a fair shake…). Eventually, DU shut me out from lurking due to “unusually high bandwidth useage.”
With a W in the Dubya column, I look forward to beating terrorists and going to sleep…

  3. Remember that time that Bush won re-election? ya, that was cool. I guess I’ll lead the chant, since I haven’t done a good chant since I left the Colorado GOP party about 12:30 am mountain… 4 more years! 4 more years! 4 more years!

  4. Happy Dance
Thank God, and I do mean THANK GOD, the American people are smart enough to re-elect President Bush. I was fortunate enough to have him as Commander-in-Chief when I enlisted, and now he will continue to be my Commander-in-Chief.
My chest is swelling with pride, and I have a newfound hope in the American people.
GOD BLESS AMERICA! And GEORGE W. BUSH!

  5. Just a quick look at DU. Oh my, the sour grapes! Lets all put on our brown shirts and go over there and round up and pummel some liberal woosies who are ranting about Revolution and such. But No Gloating! That would be unbecoming of us……. Now, let’s go! Schnell!
Oh, and as an aside to Frawnce…..thhhhbbbbpppttttt!

  6. yeah…can you believe that france was disappointed that the american voters didn’t listen to them. after all, they know best. jeez…after this you’d think that they’d get a clue and realize that they and their opinions don’t really matter. the american people have spoken, and in a resounding voice, they decided to re-elect W.

  7. While I worked last night I listened to ABC news via radio. It got hilarious. The talking heads were tired and got obviously pissed at Kerry and the Dims for not giving it up. They were asking where the heckWhile I worked last night I listened to ABC news via radio. It got hilarious. The talking heads were tired and got obviously pissed at Kerry and the Dims for not giving it up. They were asking where the heck< ” did they get the figure for 250,000 provisional and absentee ballots, roll some dice.”
Then Andy Card came on a said the the Secretary of State for Ohio had said there was no statistical way for Kerry to win Ohio. I think some of the other MSN’s are starting to turn on him. Go figure?
