LaShawn Barber asked that I link to her, and you always have to do what LaShawn asks, so I’m linking to her list of New Year’s Resolutions – some of which I might steal for myself. Here are some of my own resolutions:
* Publish book that’s a compilation of my In My World’s.
* Make lots of money from doing so.
* Use money for evil.
* Train in handgun usage such that I can easily draw and hit a monkey between the eyes at fifty paces at a moment’s notice.
* Treat SarahK like a princess when she moves here this weekend… unless she starts nagging (BTW, I have a special project with her that I’m keeping secret for now; it’s so cool to have a girlfriend who shares my main hobby).
* Make it big in the radio industry with my audio bits.
* When I make it big, end blog with a final “screw you readers” post.
* Laugh evilly more often.
* Exercise more.
* Wrestle an alligator.
* Use fire to solve more problems.
* Eat healthier to reduce cholesterol.
* Destroy most of my enemies.
* Create more enemies to have as targets of destruction.
* Be better at regularly reading other blogs.
That’s all I can think of now. What were your resolutions?

Not to say first anymore. FIRST! DARN!!
A Special Project you say?
1 get a new computer so I can actually hear your audio bits.
2 get a life….
3 quit smoking again..
3 mumble,mumble,something about whatever….blog….
I hereby resolve to:
I resolve to be less tolerant of evil hippies, liberals, and ugly people.
I resolve to go to Beijing’s Forbidden City and pee on the sidewalk, thus sparking the Final War between the East and West.
Be insanely jealous that Frank gets to move in with his internet sweetie while I’m still apart from mine. (Damn national borders!)
i like the part about treating me like a princess. 🙂 and i’ll only nag about reading other blogs…
i’ll help you with the eating healthier thing, too. 🙂 part of my treating you like a prince.
Not to make any blatant self promoting comments on others blogs….
My resolutions:
I would list more but it is time for my smoke break. Doh! 1 out of 3 ain’t bad.
Here’s a great way for you to fulfill one of your resolutions — read MY blog! Here are a list of my own New Year’s resolutions:
Resolutions I Can Keep
I hate Resolutions because I can never keep them so I resolve to make no resolutions. See what I mean?
This is the year I win $1+ million after taxes on the Kentucky Derby. It’ll take $5,000-$10,000 to make it it happen.
Resolution.
Try to get myself invited to guest blog at a top site.
Hmmm. Gotta keep surfing.
I resolve to stop wasting precious work time surfing and posting at blogs, except for IMAO, Mountineer Musings, Bad Example . . . my blog, LaShawn’s, thinking about things to say about Evil Glenn, reading Michelle, Newsmax, Drudge . . . Oh crap, there goes another resolution! DAGNABBIT!
My resolution is to destroy my enemies with cholesterol. Right now I have a stick of butter on a fishing pole outside of Tom Dashle’s house. Actually, it’s my third try. Michael Moore keeps stealing the bait.
Why does everyone want to DESTROY their enemies? Wouldn’t it be that much juicier to convert them? To get rid of the brainwashing that makes them think that voting for someone with a “D” by their name is a GOOD thing? Sure, there will always be those who are beyond retrieval…but that’s what Soylent Green is for.
So, I resolve not to CRUSH my enemies, but to open their eyes. I still wouldn’t mind seeing them driven before me, and the lamentation of the women is still a must, but I think we can do better than simple wanton destruction.
No, f*** that. Kill em.
Exile. Funny!
Hmmm. I… Resolve… to………. Be abducted by Tralfamadorians. Oh yes.
Since I have an addictive personality, my resolution is to only punch one hippie in the face per month. Like they say, moderation is the key.
light michael moore on fire.
mmmm…..roasted pork…….
My resolution for this year is the same resolution as last year: 1280×1024.
That’s the disadvantage of having an LCD monitor.
Thanks for the link, Frank. You said you were going to do more linking because of your schedule, so I thought I’d throw my name in the pot. 🙂
Since you’re doing what I ask these days, I could use a few grand while you’re at it. I’ll take a check.
Join the Marines, quit chewing tobacco.
Why does resolution sound like the second solution to a problem?
Correct everyone else’s mistakes, but never acknowledge that I any make.
Stop making fun of dyslexic elpoep.
Continue in the Christian tradition of being ashamed of my body and everything I can do with it.
Have a wild, meaningless tryst with a Hooters girl.
Settle instead for a Waffle House waitress.
To marry the most attractive man in California! :>
(The one who’s ring I’m wearing!)
Some of my resolutions are:
1) Be more tolerant of Yankees fans and stop rubbing the BoSox’ WS win in their faces. (Yep, Taxachusetts native here.) 🙂
2) This summer, someday, somehow, get those liberals at my summer job to actually debate with me instead of dancing around the issues.
3) After #2 is accomplished, give them a sound verbal thrashing.
4) Make it through another insane semester at my insane college here. http://www.bju.edu (Remember that school Bush was bashed for visiting in 2000? This is it.) Spring semester classes start in less than a week. Wish me luck.
