There’s a test coming up

According to someone who the Democrats consider an expert on foreign policy, there’s a test coming up.

Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) told a group of supporters that if Obama’s elected, a major international crisis will develop:

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

Madeline Albright agrees:

The amazing thing is, those of us on the right have been saying this for months.

And now, it seems, Joe Biden agrees with us.

But here’s where we differ.

We think that when a crisis hits … when that 3:00 AM phone call comes … there should be somebody in the White House who can respond, and respond decisively.

The left thinks there should be somebody who votes “present.”

Yeah, “present.” That’ll strike fear in the terrorists’ hearts.

  1. I’m stating the obvious, I know, but for someone with an IQ “much higher” than most of us, that’s a really, really, really stupid statement to make when you’re trying to win an election.

    Stand up for Joe!

  2. Of course there is a test coming up. A mid term. It will determine how you live for the next semester (four years). If you take the test and give the correct (right) answers you will be able to enjoy the rest of the semester, if you “choose poorly” you may envy the villain in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Crumbling to dust and then exploding may just be more comfy than spending four years (or more) under the auspices of the Nanny State with the Ayatollah Obama.

I don’t know seems like an easy decision to me.

I wonder though does that mean that ‘slow Joe thinks the world won’t “test” McCain. If so why wouldn’t you want him in office. Unless of course you want to go to war or get bombes or invaded. Just sayin’……….

  3. When asked about Biden’s comments, Senator Obama responded:
“There’s going to be a test? Nobody told me there was going to be a test or I would have taken notes. Is it graded on a curve? Can I get an incomplete and take it later?”

  4. When Kennedy had his huge tests – the Bay of Pigs and his summit with the Soviets, he failed both utterly. The left love to forget this, but the summit showed so much weakness that the Cuban Missile Crisis and Berlin Wall were direct results of it.

Of course, leftists will forget the failures of Obama instantly just as they do JFKs.

  5. Biden’s right; of course Obama looks weak to the rest of the world, which will start an international crisis.. McCain is strong and, like Ronald Reagan, would be respected from day 1. Remember how our US Embassy hostages were freed on Reagan’s inauguration day after being held captive 444 days by Iran? They were held 444 days due to Jimmy Carter’s weakness. Obama would be Jimmy Carter’s 2nd term!

  6. The O!, affirmative action candidate that he is, isn’t worried about any test. He knows he’ll get a pass from fellow Dems and the media no matter how badly he screws up. Why accomplish anything useful at all if you can just slide by on a quota/making history basis. Life is good!!

  7. “This morning, there was an attack on the American People. I just want all Americans to know, that I am here. Present, if you will. I will continue to be Present, until the situation is resolved. Instead of doing something about what happened, I am going to sit at my desk and be here, hoping that what happened will soon change.”

  8. Ah, Joe, there ya go agin…

But how’s about a little Alaskan musk ox, since ya got yur pie hole open anyways? Might grow ya and the BamBam some kahoonies – enuf to figure out it’ll take a REAL woman to handle that 3:00 telerphone call…
