Hey, someone paid for the expensive blog ads space, so I feel I should mention — except it’s the Wall Street Journal so you already know about them. They’re the only newspaper that isn’t hemorrhaging money. They also have on online business model that actually makes money. Anyway, weird how like the only successful paper left is a right-leaning… well, weird in how predictable that is. So check them out, as the ad money they pay helps me not get bored of blogging and abandon it for a new hobby like whittlin’.

  1. On another note, is it coincidence that the only newspaper not hemorrhaging money is the conservative one devoted to following business and the economy? Like, maybe they know what their doing, or something?

  2. Well, after the newly proposed iPad tax goes into effect, all the struggling newspapers will be bailed out and do just fine with their zero patronage. At least with that big patronizing Zero in the White House.

  3. I can be pretty patronizing if you catch me at the right time. Something like “If you think a BOSE Wave Radio sounds as good as a real component system, clearly you:
    – Haven’t heard any good component systems
    – Have tin ears full of mush
    – Spent way to much time listening to 8-tracks, I-Pods and other MP3 like dreck

    That patronizing enough?

  4. Ok So I think Glen Beck’s a nutjob and a fake conservative, but I think reading a book about it would be almost as tedious as listening to his show. Saying that will probably make him cry.

    I did click the link for ya though Frank. I hear you need the money for a new whittlin knife.

  5. Somewhere there are hundreds of whittlin’ blogs.
    I haven’t looked for them, but they gotta be there.

    But, If any whittlin’ suppliers were whittling some online whittlin’ adverts,
    then with all these whittlin’ references to whittlin’ knifes and whittling books
    and supplies for whittlers;

    they would have showed up here faster than an ad for Muslima.com
