I guess it’s your right to argue that terrorism is sometimes justified, but I’d rather you stand in Canada while doing that.
Muslims killed 3,000 people in a terrorist attack, so I don’t know why we should deal with any Muslim being mealy-mouthed on the issue. Is that like too logical a stance or something?

I think Muslims have the right idea since they burned down the WTC they should get to build a mosque there. Its a great idea and one that Israel should follow and burn down the dome of the rock and rebuild their temple there. Obviously only racists would object.
I think obuma was perfectly clear when he said Freedom of Religion allowed the muslims to build a mosque anywhere they want in America, just as we can
build churches and temples anywhere we want in the Middle East.
My non-random thought/rant of the moment:
What is there about the Ground Zero site that isn’t 100% absolutely positively ‘ephed? Did we not realize this when liberals insisted that an African American be included in the iconic Ground Zero statue of the firemen? Have liberals thwarted every attempt to build and rebuild something that God forbid, we as Americans can be proud of? Should we have just given up when liberals insisted that a memorial include statements from the hijackers? Have we become so accustomed to this liberal-manufactured mess that we have not screamed outrage that private enterprise has long since completed building on its share of the site while Ground Zero is a shameful gaping hole? Should we not now say, “‘Eph ’em. Let them build a mosque there, but rebuild the towers with a memorial that mainstream Americans can be proud of? Can we at least get the Ground Zero construction fully under way before Muslims complete a Mosque that, for much of the Muslim world, represents the victory of Islam? Should someone have called BS when the rebuilding committee selected an architect who had never designed anything taller that 4 stories? Should we not cry that the universally displayed determination of “we will rebuild” has now been replaced with a callous “whenever?”
Inquiring minds don’t want to know. They know already know.
This is my final thought, for today, on the subject. Perhaps it’s time for a grassroots Tea Party like movement that says, “Go ahead and build the Mosque. Build for us new towers and a memorial that says to the world, ‘Don’t ‘eph with us. We will triumph over you.'”

A Mexican friend told me how he can always spot leftists. The women leftists will either flirt with them or act like the Mexicans are less then the crap on their shoe. The pseudo-men leftists will act like they are their long lost brother and pretend to be more Mexican then they are or treat them like they are less then crap on the shoe.
Some people might be tempted to see that leftists are divided over Mexicans but they aren’t in none of those cases is it about the Mexicans it is always about the leftists and their superiority.
I think:
-it would be a bad idea to have DC block the mosque building in New York.
-New York lost 3000 citizens leave it up to the city.
-I have the right to object.
-Politicians have the right to denounce or support it.
-Muslims have the right to try and build it.
If Washington politicians were trying to use the federal government to block/build the mosque then I would have a problem with it. Since none of them are as far as I know then as long as the final say is up to NY city then I think everything is going how it should here.
When they build it, I’d like to see Nancy Pelosi and every Bull Dyke in NY attend the first service! That may cause a bit of a fracus as they say in the chaos bus. but much fun!

In a similar way, shiggz, I have known Muslims from India that I would give the shirt off my back. Is there something about the country / culture of origin affecting the way Muslims behave? I know another thing from experience: middle Eastern men tend to suck. Men from the Indian sub-continent, on the other hand, interest me.

Frank – I hate to remind you, but after 9/11, one of the first things that the media started reporting was the timeline of the hijackers on the day before the attack. What did they do?
they ate pizza and went to strip clubs and peep shows! Now….N.Y. – pretty good pizza, right? And the strip clubs in that area ain’t bad either so this is just convenient pre-suicide attack staging area. All your favorite pre-death activities within convenient walking distance. This isn’t religious tolerance, this is downright accommodation.

In fact I think for the future of the free world I have a strategic model I call “Arm the sheep.” They have a billion people are a previous British colony (like us) and historically they struggle with complex bureaucracies and not an endless flow of wannabe Napoleons and Hitlers or pseudo messiahs. When the rest of the world was poverty stricken but building war machines India with its people on the verge of starvation kept their education system for the poor working while teaching their children English.
I think we should be arming and training the likes of India, Australia, Poland and Israel as well as we can right now. When America becomes an unreliable ally from any number of plausible scenarios they will quickly be beset on all sides by vengeful wolves. In WW3 I think they will be the new British Churchills trying to hold the line. The lands of Britain and France run by a Marxist ruling elite will be nearly erased before the Marxists have been purged and the people have reawakened with an interest to properly defend themselves and the lands of their forefathers.

Muslims have every right to build their mosque where they want, and they have every right to perform their ancient religious rites such as floggings, stonings, amputations, and beheadings which are, after all, an integral part of their religious freedom. A freedom I might add that all Americans should respect and be tolerant of. So Mr. and Mrs. America why spend thousands of your hard earned after tax dollars traveling overseas to dangerous third world s**t holes for the “Islamic experience” when you can come to NY City to observe these quaint customs and practices right here in the Big Apple.
