If Romney wins the election, the next day he should release all his taxes.
Speeding fines are doubled in construction zones, and running over a construction worker is worth half the normal points in a death race.
Was having to open a car door by physically sticking a car key in it really such a huge hassle that it had to be eliminated?
They’re making a sequel to “Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome” tentatively titled “Mad Max: Even More Beyonder the Thunderdome.”
A politicians said something horrible and the leaders of his own party condemned it? Oh, he was a Republican.
Getting excited for a second Obama term is like a woman getting excited her abusive boyfriend is drinking.
Oh, great. Next time I go to Augusta, there are going to be tampons everywhere.
So at what point does Obama tell Apple they have enough money?
Apple is worth $623 billion? How many roads and bridges did Obama have to build for that?
So where did Akin get this idea that rape doesn’t cause pregnancy? Bill Clinton?
Did I dream it, or did a woman once charge a Democrat president with rape and Democrats didn’t really care?
I just hope Democrats are getting too righteous about Akin, because they’ve demonstrated that rape is a purely partisan issue with them.
I see some Democrats are going with “Paul Ryan is just like Akin” which makes them as oblivious to what Akin did wrong as Akin.
Bill Clinton will be speaking at the DNC. Maybe he can give more informed opinions on rape and pregnancy.
Whats’s “21st century women’s health” to Obama? Killing babies with lasers?
Right now there’s a robot on mars shooting rocks with lasers and we’re still all down here talking about stupid crap.
So basically the only one arguing that Akin should stay in the race is his opponent.
When is Swanson going to get with the 21st century and change the name of their frozen dinners to “Hungry-Person”?

Whats’s “21st century women’s health” to Obama? Killing babies with lasers?
Easier D&X by imploding you 3rd trimester “fetus” ‘s skull with lasers? Sounds like something Obama’d fund…
To be fair, Vijay Singh always left his tampons lying around before this change in policy.
Where can I get one of those rock-zapping martian lasers? I tried Home Depot but they were out of stock.
It’s only wrong when a conservative does it.
Swanson should get Ron Swanson for a spokesman. Marketing bonanza!
“Speeding fines are doubled in construction zones, and running over a construction worker is worth half the normal points in a death race.”
Whenever I see those signs on the highway that say “Hit a construction worker, pay $10,000 fine” I think, “Fair deal!”
“Getting excited for a second Obama term is like a woman getting excited her abusive boyfriend is drinking.”
SCORE!
Can’t top that one, don’t even try!
“Getting excited for a second Obama term is like…”
…anticipating a home invasion robbery.
…seeing your car’s temperature gauge run a little high prior to blowing a head gasket.
…preparing for a self-enema before a colonoscopy.
Augusta will be crawling with bears now.
We have to elect Romney to find out what’s in his taxes….sounds familiar.
Akin’s statement regarding rape was correct in that pregnancy is unlikely to result from a rape. Cortisol is one of the main stress hormones released by the adrenal gland. In high levels, it can cause temporary infertility and has been linked to a 90% miscarriage rate in the first 3 weeks of pregnancy. Even at normal levels, cortisol is believed to cause about 30% of miscarriages in the first few weeks of pregnancy.
I just saw where Biden is going to Tampa for the Republican convention. Poor, confused Joe.
@JAGernaut: References, please? Even if we were to concede that pregnancies are much less likely to result from rape, it would not change the ethical issues involved.
A friend once explained to me the difference between being right and being dead right. You are not even dead right.
JAGernaut has a point; high cortisol has been linked to miscarriages, I think this is the report he is referring to.
@Burmashave: Here are a couple references for you –
Cortisol, Additional Effects: “Shuts down the reproductive system, resulting in an increased chance of miscarriage and (in some cases) temporary infertility. Fertility returns after cortisol levels return to normal.”
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cortisol – Nelson RF (2011). An Introduction to Behavioral Endocrinology, Fourth Edition. Sunderland, Mass: Sinauer Associates Inc. ISBN 0-87893-620-3]
“Pregnancies exposed to increased cortisol were 2.7 times (95% confidence interval = 1.2–6.2) more likely to be unsuccessful (lost) than those exposed to normal cortisol levels (Rao–Thomas adjusted F1,16 = 3.42, P = 0.03). Whereas 90% of the increased cortisol pregnancies resulted in spontaneous abortions, only 33% of the normal cortisol pregnancies were lost.”
