  1. This would make me feel better, but last Thanksgiving I tried to take a very small step into the real world at my Irish Catholic family dinner. What I got back was a ten minute lecture on how the current economic problems can all be traced back to Reagan. I was so taken aback by what I heard I literally could not say a word and I am sure it did not matter because nothing I could have said would have the power to penetrate the liberal fog that hangs over all my family functions. Funny how that fog clears every time someone I know needs help. Why is it my list of people I know who voted for Obama is the same as my list of people who I know who needed to borrow money from me this past four years? If you are family or a good friend I will give you the shirt off my back; I just wish you would give me a break and STFU about politics the next family dinner.

  2. No Matt, It will still be Bush’s fault. It isn’t a logical argument. The left were blaming Bush for a minor recession after he’d been in office, are blaming Bush for the economy four years after he left office, and, as we saw above, they are still blaming Reagan and he hasn’t been president for 24 years.

  3. @5 matt musson

if obama is re-elected i suspect that he will devote most of his term to repealing the two term limit for presidents. his power grab really makes no sense if he intends to return to being one of the masses.
