We’ve been fighting about the proper size and role of government since the day the Framers gathered in Philadelphia…. But what troubles me is when I hear people say that all of government is inherently bad…. When our government is spoken of as some menacing, threatening foreign entity, it ignores the fact that in our democracy, government is us.

Wow, what an immense amount of ignorance (probably intentional misdirections, ie. lies) crammed into such a short quote. The framers referred often to the government as “The Beast” and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as the chains that held the Beast in check. His referral to our form of government as a democracy, when in fact it is a Republic also speaks volumes on the destination he is trying to force our country toward.
So…..government is now Obama voters? That explains a lot.
