So, since 2009, the middle of a quasi-depression or deep recession, wages are rising fastest. After 7 years finally, finally! Wages are now rising. But, not compared to some super recovery period in US history but only compared to how they have risen during 7 years of recession. I know I’d be bragging about that!
Ironically, the number of people earning them is dropping faster than an invader on his way to the welfare office. Then, of course, there’s the 1/3 of the adult population who already don’t need no stinkin wages because they get everything handed to them for
freevoting early and often.Isn’t progress great?
He must be talking about wages in Washington, because myself and everyone I know haven’t had a raise in the past few years. That or a raise that keeps up with inflation or the cost of health insurance.
Then there’s that 20+% of the workforce that can’t find a job at any wage.
So given that wages have actually fallen in the 7 years of Obama, they could now grow at 0% and still be at the fastest pace.
