The benefit to Trump is that people accept that he is honestly being himself. Now that may be loudmouthed, racist and dumb but it isn’t a put on like Hillary’s and every other politician’s smarmy “I love everyone” face.

I still am still confounded by the “racist” claim, which FrankJ promotes, until proof is offered. I haven’t seen it yet.
Rapists are arriving in the U.S. from Mexico They have certainly raped here in the United States. And they are entering the country illegally. Now, I don’t know if Mexico is sending them, but it is a fact.
Same with murderers. News stories abound which prove this. I will be glad to supply documented cases, even from liberal media sources, if necessary, to those who doubt it.
Trump did not say all Mexicans are rapists; that would have been a racist statement. If he literally meant “they are rapists,” why would he have followed it up in the next sentence with “And some, I assume, are good people”?
He said they are sending us their rapists. The media wrote he said “they’re rapists,” but might he have said “their rapists”? I don’t trust the media to transcribe this accurately.
He might just as well have added that we are also getting from Mexico some gang-bangers and people who drive cars without insurance. Does that make him a racist? That makes him truthful. Again, easily documented.

He emphasized that he has issues with the Mexican government and the illegal immigrants who hurt legal Mexican immigrants and not with the Mexican people.
