Would you know my name
If I said you were Kavanaugh?
Would it bring you shame
If I said you were Kavanaugh?
I must seem strong, like John Kerry-on
‘Cause I know I don’t belong, Hearing Heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I said you were Kavanaugh?
Would you take the stand
If I said you were Kavanaugh?
I’ll find my way, lie all night and cry
‘Cause I know I just can’t fly, Hearing Heaven
Proof can bring you down, proof can bend your knees
Proof can make you a clown, have you begging please, begging please
Beyond the door there’s peace I’m sure
And I know there’ll be no more Hearing Heaven
