Texas grandfather was wrongly ID’d as Sunglass Hut robber by facial recognition technology and GANG-RAPED after being jailed for crime that took place while he was in California, lawsuit claims
UK Daily Mail | 1/25/2024 | Mackenzie TatananniMurphy, a grandfather who grew up in Texas, was in Sacramento, California, when two armed men stormed into the Sunglass Hut on West Gray in Houston.
During the investigation, officers received a call from Anthony Pfleger, the head of loss prevention for EssilorLuxottica. Pfleger said he worked with Macy’s loss prevention to determine that the person who robbed the store was Murphy.
‘Using artificial intelligence and facial recognition software, EssilorLuxottica and Macy’s took the video from the robbery and determined that Murphy was the robber,’ the lawsuit states. ‘The video was recorded by Kimco’s poor low-quality cameras.’

Grade A Biden-Bashing
If you have a few minutes, this author does a great job of deflating Joe Biden. It’s a long read, but necessarily so.
I’ll only include the first two paragraphs, to give you the tone of the rest:
A Crisis For Every Month: The Worst Debacles, Disgraces, And (Literal) Train Wrecks Of Biden’s Third Year
The Federalist | 1/26/2024 | Elle PurnellCongratulations, America — you’ve survived your third year of being bossed around by Joe “Big Guy” Dementia Biden. You might be poorer, more depressed, and more likely to end up drafted for a foreign war than you were when he hobbled into the White House three years ago last Saturday, but you’ve finally made it to the year you get to vote him out, if you’re smart enough.
In January 2022, we brought you “A Scandal For Every Month: The Biggest Botches, Failures, And Mess-Ups Of Joe Biden’s First 12 Months In Office.” Last January, there was another year of disasters to catalog. If you’re like me, you’re probably losing track of all the scandals and which ones happened when. If it’s making your head spin, just think how confused poor Joe is!

President Biden Sued Over Executive Order Interfering in State Elections (PA)
thepoliticsbrief | 1/26/2024A group of 24 Republican legislators in Pennsylvania has filed a federal complaint against President Joe Biden, Governor Josh Shapiro, and representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of State, alleging that they have usurped legislative authority by changing voter registration and election rules.
The lawsuit was reported by the Epoch Times. According to the legislators, the Elections Clause and the Electors Clause of the United States Constitution give state legislators the sole constitutional right to determine election procedures, and the president, governor, or other executive officials, such as the secretary of state, have no authority to create, rewrite, or disregard laws established by the legislature. The organization claims they have been unconstitutionally barred from the legislative process that governs federal elections for president and Congress.
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit, as reported: Pennsylvania state Reps. Dawn Keefer, Timothy Bonner, Barry Jozwiak, Barbara Gleim, Joseph Hamm, Wendy Fink, Robert Kauffman, Stephanie Borowicz, Donald (Bud) Cook, Paul Michael Jones, Joseph D’Orsie, Charity Krupa, Leslie Rossi, David Zimmerman, Robert Leadbeter, Dan Moul, Thomas Jones, David Maloney, Timothy Twardzik, David Rowe, Joanne Stehr, Aaron Bernstine, Kathy Rapp, and state Sen. Cris Dush.
Their case in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania petitions a court to declare three measures unconstitutional: President Biden’s voter registration executive order, Shapiro’s voter registration action, and certain Department of State directions.
They urge that the court impose an injunction banning the president, governor, and state executives from making future modifications to Pennsylvania’s electoral process without first going through the legislative process.
According to the court filings, the legislature is solely responsible for enacting election procedures, including voter registration.

Muslim Violence All Over India as Ram Temple Is Inaugurated-And guess who the media blames
Frontpagemag | January 25, 2024 | Ashlyn DavisThough the Hindus are the majority in India, they are often victims of Islamic fanaticism and bigotry.
…
“Jai Shri Ram” is a famous Hindi slogan that translates to “Victory to Ram.” Ram is one of the most widely worshipped Hindi deities. Before the major Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the slogan gained monumental popularity among the younger generation. This student may have been chanting the slogan out of his uncontained excitement, as there were just a couple of days left before the inauguration.
When Mohammad Abdul Wahid heard the “Jai Shri Ram” chants coming from the classroom, he rushed to check who was chanting the religious slogan, and started to beat the student brutally.
The victim, a minor, went home crying and recounted the incident to his family members; locals and members of Hindu organizations were also gradually brought in.
A gathering of people reached the Budhar police station and demanded action against the teacher. The police lodged a case against Mohammad Abdul Wahid and the director of Green Bells School under various relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 34, 153, 323, and 500 and section 82 of the Juvenile Justice Act.
“An incident of assault has come to light wherein a student was beaten for chanting Jai Shri Ram in school. A case has been registered against the accused teacher and school operator. Further investigation in this case is going on,” said police station house officer Sanjeev Jaiswal. The police have since arrested Wahid, but people are demanding that the license of the school be cancelled.
…
On Sunday, January 21, just a day before the grand inauguration of the temple, a Muslim mob in the Mehsana district of Gujarat attacked a Hindu procession dedicated to Lord Ram and the event of the inauguration. The incident occurred in Kheralu town; police sources stated that the stone-throwing began when the procession passed through the Hatadiya area in Belim Vas, which is a Muslim neighborhood. As per reports, members of Hindu organizations observed that the attack started in earnest when the procession reached a mosque. Videos of the mayhem reveal that Muslims, including women, threw stones at the Hindu procession from rooftops. The police have since rounded up 15 individuals and restored peace in the area.
This did not happen only in Gujarat. Muslim mobs, used to the infinite impunity granted to them by the previous “secular” governments, began starting brawls all over the country, with no regard for law and order. X users on Sunday night posted videos of violent rampages similar to the one in Gujarat from Mumbai’s Mira road as well. A popular X handle, The Squind, claimed that a group of 200 Muslims attacked a Hindu procession dedicated to the inauguration and even attacked women. He suggested that it could have been a pre-planned terror attack. Renowned political Abhijit Iyer Mitra confirmed that rioting had started. Asianet News reports that rioters attacked the vehicles of a Hindu procession with stones and hammers, injuring several Ram devotees.
Again, on January 21, the Bihar Police arrested a 21-year-old Muslim youth, Intekhab Alam, for threatening to “blow up” the Ram Mandir on January 22. Thousands of VVIPs and devotees of Ram were scheduled to attend the ceremony.
Ashok Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Araria, also confirmed this: “The man had on January 19 dialled 112, the number on which citizens can seek emergency help. He claimed his name was Chhota Shakeel and that he was a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim.” Bihar police have detained Alam and seized his phone registered in his father’s name.
Meanwhile, there have been numerous reports over the last few years of a “Muslim being beaten or harassed and forced to chant Jai Shri Ram” in India. All these stories were covered widely by the media, only to be proven fake. They were intended to malign the Hindu community and the Narendra Modi government in India. The reality couldn’t be farther from these cooked-up narratives.
Humans. Hilarious.

Federal Appeals Court Slams FBI’s Actions In Security Deposit Box Raid
Institute for Justice | January 23, 2024 | Andrew Wimer ·Ninth Circuit panel unanimously orders FBI to destroy records it created during searches of US Private Vaults boxes
PASADENA, Calif.—This morning, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel unanimously ruled against the government in a long-running class action lawsuit from the Institute for Justice (IJ) on behalf of people who rented security deposit boxes at US Private Vaults. The decision slammed the FBI for overstepping its authority when it opened up hundreds of renters’ boxes, conducted criminal searches of them all, and attempted to permanently keep everything in the boxes worth more than $5,000, all without charging any box renter with a crime.
“Today’s opinion draws a line in the sand, to ensure something like this never happens again,” said IJ Senior Attorney Rob Johnson. “If this had come out the other way, the government could have exported this raid as a model across the country. Now, the government is on notice its actions violated the Fourth Amendment.”
Judge Milan D. Smith, writing for the court, likened the FBI’s actions to the abuses that motivated the Bill of Rights: “[T]he government failed to explain why applying the inventory exception to this case would not open the door to the kinds of ‘writs of assistance’ the British authorities used prior to the Founding to conduct limitless searches of an individual’s personal belongings. It was those very abuses of power, after all, that led to adoption of the Fourth Amendment in the first place.”
“We knew that what the FBI did to us and so many others was wrong and today’s decision is a validation,” said Jennifer Snitko. “It took courage for Paul and I to be among the first people to stand up publicly and call out the government but we are proud to have fought for our rights. This is a good day for our country and the principle that the government’s power to search our property has limits.”
For years, the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) insisted that they did nothing wrong at US Private Vaults. Even though the warrant authorizing the raid only permitted the FBI to open boxes to identify their owners and safeguard the contents, agents rummaged through hundreds of boxes, ran currency they found in front of drug sniffing dogs, and made copies of people’s most personal records. The DOJ then filed a massive administrative forfeiture claim to take more than $100 million in cash and other valuables, again, without charging any individual with a crime.
“The government promised the magistrate that it would not conduct a criminal search or seizure of the boxes,” said IJ Senior Attorney Robert Frommer. “After years of litigation, today’s opinion shows that not to be true. The government lied to justify its forfeiture scheme, and in the end the lie was its undoing.”

Bill To Require Speed Limiters in California Cars Introduced in Senate
California Globe | January 24, 2024 | Evan SymonA bill to require all cars sold or made in California after 2027 to have devices limiting their top speed to only ten miles per hour above the speed limit was introduced in the Senate on Wednesday.
Senate Bill 961, authored by Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), would specifically require certain vehicles, commencing with the 2027 model year, to be equipped with an intelligent speed limiter that would limit the speed of the vehicle to 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. The bill would exempt emergency vehicles from this requirement and would authorize the Commissioner of the California Highway Patrol to authorize the disabling of the system on other vehicles.
A man’s got to know his limitations. And who’s imposing them.

Biden: “During It Define, of, Earth Rider”
Bumbling Joe Biden says Donald Trump is the ‘SITTING President’ as confused 81-year-old stumbles through economic speech in South Carolina trying to shore up support for another term
Daily Mail | 1/28/24 | Emma RichterBiden’s newest gaffe came just after he stumbled during another speech at a Wisconsin Brewery where he called Trump a ‘professor’ rather than ‘predecessor,’ before correcting himself.
During his remarks, the President seemed to speak nonsensically as he said: ‘The beer brewed here. It is used to make the brewed beer. During it define, of, Earth Rider.’
