  1. “Moky.” (Ha! You were expecting “incest” or “fisting,” weren’t you?) I happened upon the word in John Myers Myers biography of Doc Holliday from 1955. I’ve read a few of his books on frontier history, and apparently he liked to use odd or just-about-antique words and expressions. I had to look up “moky” to see what he was talking about. The word means “hazy” or “foggy.”
