If It Weren’t for the Support of Our Wives

When Michael Brown found an object in the Kuiper belt larger than Pluto (which could soon become known as our twelth planet under a new proposal), the first person he called to announce his discovery was his wife. And her reaction ot the momentus occasion was:

“That’s nice, honey. Can you pick up some milk on your way home?”
Actually, I can kinda understand the apathy; do astronomers even make money?
“I just discovered the brightest pulsar ever!”
“That’s great, but you forgot to give me some sweet and sour sauce for my Chicken McNuggets.”

  1. Wives, you cain’t live with them and ya can’t kill em. It’s a good thing sheep cain’t cook, I’ll tell you what. Ya think that there Kuiper belt would fit around my wife, Beulah? She’s a biggun you know. And by the by, everyone with a lick of sense knows that there Pluto is a cartoon dog. Who you trying to kid?

  2. Come on now, your majesty, we ladies are good at something. I realize sheep are warm and fuzzy, but the babies produced by a sheep and a ….. well, you get the picture. That’s just plain wrong.
Beula honey I think it’s time to kick the king to the kerb ( sorry alliteration, got carried away) and find yourself a new improved one and only. But before you leave take that Kupier belt from around the kings waist( yes I know his pants will fall down- that’s a plus, well at least a neutral) and smack him a good one right on his cute little derriËre (that French for backside- it was in my spell check dictionary. Who knew.)

  3. Hell Sean, don’t get me wrong. Ah’ll never get over my wife, ah’ll jes hafta drive around her. I took her to the beauty parlor and she was there fer two hours. And that was jes fer the estimate.
