She won’t get a Nobel prize, of course — if anything, a “How Dare You?” from the Central Committee.
And “The Resistance” in our country? They’d be in the basement.
It’s an unwritten rule of IMAO NOT to make light of tragedies (only tragedians), and I am sorry for breaking that rule, but this story can lift our spirits in these un-Seattled times.
Afghan Teen Kills Taliban Fighters After They Murdered Her Parents
NY Post | Amanda Woods, July 21, 2020An Afghan teen has been hailed as a hero after she used an AK-47 to fatally shoot two Taliban fighters — and wound several more — who dragged her parents from their home and killed them for supporting the government, local officials said.
Insurgents stormed the home of Qamar Gul, a teenager from a village in the central province of Ghor, last week, officials told Agence France-Presse.
They were targeting her father, the village chief and a government supporter, according to local police head Habiburahman Malekzada.
When his wife resisted, the Taliban fighters killed the couple outside their home, according to Malekzada.
“Qamar Gul, who was inside the house, took an AK-47 gun the family had and first shot dead the two Taliban fighters who killed her parents, and then injured a few others,” the police official told AFP.

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
By now we can only lose:
Afghanistan’s a funeral pyre
Qamar Gul, light ’em up; fire
Qamar Gul, light ’em up; fire
Try to set the Net on fire
{Repeat for centuries}

As John Wayne said, “Some people just need killin'”
It’s not just a meme; it’s a fact.
Her folks raised her right.
