Joe Biden is only a few years older than I. Like him, I am Catholic, though I think I follow the Church’s doctrine more closely.
Anyway, when I was growing up, we were practically urged to cross the street if there was a protestant church there. The idea of voluntarily going into such a church was beyond the pale.
