You ever think about how Hollywood is supposed to be the most liberal and enlightened, yet they have the most illiberal hiring policies? Can you think of any other industry where the are so conspicuous about discriminating on race and gender (“We’re only hiring white males for this role; blacks need not apply.”)? Also, they’re constantly using child labor as well.
Furthermore, despite being in California, they somehow get access to fully-automatic weapons. That part is cool.
That’s how they know they are better than us – they don’t have to abide by the same rules. When you can be a racist, intolerant, sexist, bigot and get away with it you know you’re the top turd on the pile.

I suspect that I’m not alone in finding it odd that the face people of Hollywierd, who may or may not have even graduated from high school or achieved an equivalency for that matter, who get paid to pretend to be people that they are not, can stand before the world and tell me how I should behave and in that which I should believe regardless of their own behavior and legitimate proof that contradicts their arguments.
Oh yeah… it’s a lot easier to sneak full auto into the country when you live on the coast, especially when you also border Mexico to the south.

I’ve said it before. Of all the people who should be supporting the war on terror, the morons in Hollyweird should be first in line. If the Muslims had their way there’d be no movies, TV, women would live behind the veil and homosexuals would be stoned (and not in the Hollyweird way).
I have yet to be able to wrap my mind around their inability to grasp this concept. I’m not a rocket scientist by any stretch of the imagination and I get it. Surely these folks are not that naive, surely.

Not to mention the fact that many of the Hollyweirdies are, or claim to be Jewish. You’d think they’d be trembling in their boots at the prospect of Muslim rule.
The problem is that they really-o, trulio, believe that they are above it all. They think they are the elite, and really do know better. They grasp the concept; they just believe that it only applies to us poor slobs. You know, the “little people”–Christians, religious Jews, people who have real jobs, stay-at-home moms–the ones who are supposed to lick those boots they’re not trembling in.
Yet.
You know it always amazes me that a group of people who’s stock and trade is play acting and who have degrees (for the most part) in Theater or one of the related fields, consider themselves to be experts in Economy, Foreign Policy, Government, Education, Environmental Science!, et al.
Just because you play a scientist on TV or the President in a movie does not make you an expert in the subject. When they get a “real” job, put in real time as a “real” person then maybe I’ll listen to them. Otherwise they are simply Paris Hilton-ites playing at life just like they do on film.
Besides, even if they did have a degree in something else they would have to actually WORK in their field to become an expert. That’s how it works in the world I live in. Now if I want advice in how to act like a spoiled brat, or a slut, or a man ho they’re the first people I’d call.
