Based on the answer from the last picture I posted under this question, you might be tempted to answer “no”.
But the correct answer is “yes”, because this picture implies that African-Americans aren’t smart enough to dress appropriately for the task at hand.

Harvey, actually, to me it just means the lady has no prior experience at gardening and she’s probably participating in a poorly thought-out photo op about how the White House is going garden green with a kitchen salad garden, etc. Besides, she might be just “turning the first shovel” thereafter passing it to an aide to do the dirty work. Yanno, first ladies don’t do the garden jeans and boots thing with gloves. Especially, not this one. Too bad, too, since with thighs and a gluteus like hers, she could probably move some serious dirt. Lotta mass there.
So, it’s not racist at all. Just silly. To millions of female gardeners out there, she looks pretty clueless, doesn’t she? She’s also staring at the sod like maybe there’s something icky in there. Hehehe.
(Btw, I just came in from my garden to comment on this! Dang the soil is cold this year. Can’t plant yet.)

Oh, off topic but being the first day of Spring and all, I have to report a very strange event. I got buzzed this morning by four (yeah, four!) low-flying bald eagles flying in linear formation not more than 10 feet from my head! I was so surprised that I actually ducked. Still don’t know what they were chasing but what a ruckus that, seconds later, ensued in nearby trees.
Could it be that I attract our national bird in large numbers? Or is it possible that three males were chasing a single female?? It is mating season, I think…. Hmmm.

This shovel was bought under the stimulus bill.
The clothes belong to a now lynched AIG executive and are therefore perfect for gardening.
Or for the burying of said executives body on the whitehouse green ( which is another possible reason for her look of disgust( well okay I haven’t actually seen her without that look on her face but that doens’t mean it’s not true)).

Actually this is all about bringing down the price of arugula. She is going to use child labor to work the plot! Fifith graders from a local elementary. They kids are excited because for the hour they are there they wont have to dodge gunfire and there is the outside chance they will actually learn something unlike the time spent in DC schools where they are stuck since the voucher program took a hit to pay off the teacher unions. sorry about the runon sentence, i went to public skul too.
