Sick and Tired

Man I’m sleepy, and I don’t think I’ve mentioned that I have either had some bad allergies or a cold since Saturday. Still, I’ll try to have my essay ready for tomorrow. I have a few things to say before I get on the festivities (and the victory IMW should be sweet).
Also, I think I deserve having a Guinness while smoking a cigar tonight.

  1. I can empathize, got sick as well, stayed up too late last night, same exact thing. Still, its a good sick, you know? I spent the whole day trying my ass off not to smirk around campus. The hippies here in OR are up in arms baby. Or they would be, were they less stoned. I’m like, scared. Just remember: Every week, a war.
    (I”m doing affirmations”)
    Now thats a lotta wars:).

  2. Just thought you and your readers might find this interesting…It seems that the mainstream media is blaming bloggers for the bad exit polls conducted yesterday that showed that Kerry was winning. I mean, I didn’t realize that it was bloggers responsibility to conduct exit polls and the media just says whatever the bloggers think…who knew?

  3. Get this, I’m listening to Air America Radio (because I just have to gloat) and there’s this douchebag ‘greg palast’ on the ‘randi something show’ who actually said that OHio should not be using punchcard ballots because “Blacks are not good punchers. No one knows why, but Blacks are not good punch card users”. He actually said that, and I just about pissed myself.

  4. Hey, I’m sick too!
For some reason, these last few sick days have been the most productive school days yet. Pesky classes. They’re always getting in the way of my actually learning something.
    Bah!
Hooray for being sick! (So long as it’s not too inconvenient)

  5. Frank–
If the Guinness doesn’t work (boy, are you in bad shape if it doesn’t) there’s always the Elixir of Life from Jim Bunning country known as Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon. Works like a charm on my colds, and helps me get through Ted Kennedy TV appearances to boot.
    Hooray for W!!

  6. i’ve always been partial to a good Single Malt like Lagavulin or Laphroiag (spellcheck, anyone? i don’t speak Gaelic…) with a good cigar, preferrably Cohiba or Romeo y Julieta (cant wait till that bastard finally dies so we can get ’em here without someone bringing ’em in from Canada…but that’s a different rant) but if booze and tobacco doesn’t help, try large doses of C and lots of clear fluids, and if you can blog while still in bed, do it that way tomorrow.
