How can the First World (as opposed to the Third World) send hundreds of millions of dollars each month (!) to those countries, and those countries remain such backwater locations?
Excepting some of our allies in the Arabian Gulf States (who share-the-wealth and actually improve the lives of their citizens), what does Iran, Iraq and other OPEC countries do besides hog the income for their use against “the West”?
Well, I’d be interested in knowing how much of that cold hard cash gets delivered to USA politicians to support the anti-Bush sentiment. It’s time for some in-depth research.
