  1. Ha, ha, ha. Yup, that should do it.
Incidentally, commies, here’s a brief list of what I’m thinking about today. Have a great Monday!
    1. Killing terrorists without mercy
    2. Defending myself, my family, and my home with a 1911 model .45-caliber pistol. I may even use the ridiculously long clip that holds an obscene number of shots.
    3. My favorite car? A V8-powered, gas-guzzling SUV
    4. My favorite boat? It’s actually a tie between the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan (go figure) and any battleship. They are just so pretty parked off an enemy coast, don’t you think?
    5. Favorite aircraft? You guessed it – B52. They are especially spectactular right after they’ve dumped a load of 500-pounders on terrorists, or even suspected terrorists.
Don’t worry. I know how distasteful all this Americanism is for you, so I and all the others like me will take care of the dirty business of keeping your sorry butts safe for you. That’s okay. No thanks necessary. Have a great day, and dream of godless France.

  2. .45 caliber 1911?
What are you? Some kind of girly boy?
Now Frankj, I understand why you’re doing this, you’re trying to recreate the fun we had with the Ronulans, but the coterie of brain-dead, illiterate, PHD holders who’ll come in here and call us “suptid” just doesn’t cut it. They’re not even funny in the Nelson, “Ha-Ha” way, it feels dirty making fun of them. Like going to the Special Olympics and throwing caltrops on the track. Sure it’s funny, but in a cruel way.

  3. But think of all the ways we can have fun drubbing them, Veeshir. Let’s get a head start.
    1. I’ve yet to meet a Liberal who knows how ANYTHING actually works.
    2. Liberals specialize in “social engineering.” See 1. above.
    3. The natural progression of ‘liberalism in revolt’ is the chaos of the anarchists arested in St. Paul. OK, we can accomodate that. (To the tune of Carmen San Diego: “Liberals IN JAIL!”)
    4. I think mockbadoc’s list in #1 is excellent. I love lists like that. And can IMAO Ronulans ever generate them.
    5. Bring it.

  4. It’s been an hour and still no trolls. Maybe we need a “Barack is so stupid…” day – complete with Cadet Happy photos and a meter that shows his declining poll numbers.
    I’ll start.
    Barack is so stupid…
    – He thought Biden = Change
    – He can send an e-mail. That’s it.
    – He actually buys arugula – whatever that is.
    – He Pulls in 66 million but spends 70 million. He’s like the political version of Lehman Brothers.
    – He dared to cross Hillary. A hundred years from now, parents will tell the story about how she repays him to frighten their children away from gangs.
I realize those are pretty pathetic. Jimmy can do much, much better at the troll bait.

  5. Nah, captain, your “Barack is so stupid…” list is the start of something big and beats my dwelling on liberal reality! Are we all feeling a little like Reagan’s “Go ahead, make my day!” ? I think so. I’ll be baaaaaack….

  6. “4. My favorite boat? It’s actually a tie between the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan (go figure) and any battleship. They are just so pretty parked off an enemy coast, don’t you think?”
Nein!!! Surface ships (and especially the now-long-outdated battleships) are targets. A nice, quiet SS or SSN armed with TLAM[N]s are much more effective. An U-Boote is like a sniper—they never see it coming until their head explodes.
    FEURE FREI!!!!!

  7. I was initially disturbed – even a bit nervous – about the precipitous drop in commie-troll chatter. That usually heralds some sort of lollipop-throwing, MSM-using, false-propaganda-spreading tantrum. Then I realized, to my relief and amusement that it is Monday. We all know that the trolls don’t work. Plus they were probably up late last night at a Ward Churchill rally, or a live reading of the Communist manifesto, or a celebration of womens’ studies or something. They are sleeping peacefully under their Rainbow Brite covers right now. Shhhh. Don’t wake them. Let’s just enjoy our moment where it’s just us grown-ups.

  8. 8 You get off on telling people what they cannot do.

Ummmm, I think you are a bit confused. It’s not the right that likes to pass legislation telling you where you can smoke, if you can eat foie gras, what kind of car you should drive, where you should set your thermostat…need I go on?
No, the right likes to let people make their own decisions. We know people like us are capable of making our own choices. Unfortunately, encounters with people like you make me second guess that theory.

  9. Um. I’m sorry. Did one of you guys pull Seattle’s string while I wasn’t looking? Oh, well. So much for adult conversation. May I? Okay.
    Dear Seattle Commie Enviro-Pawn,
When we want to hear what people like you think, we’ll go down to our local library and blow the dust off of one of the many discredited wacko moonbats from prior generations. Your whole “People like you (a.k.a grown-ups with jobs and families and responsibilities and taxes) are all bigots” schtick has been done to death.
Do yourself a favor and never leave your little socialist bubble you reality-denying wack-jobs have created for yourselves out there. Incidentally, I couldn’t give a flip less who gets married – it is you guys cramming it down our throats…not the other way around.
    Sincerely,
A guy with a real job.

  10. Frankie Darling, You don’t have to drive me crazy.
My sanity left with my heart when SarahK stole you from me!
Now that California has made our love legal, dump the tart and come back to me.
Or if you need your space, just join me in the back of the bus if you get that Damncats meaning for a while.
    I long for you,
    Hail Chthulu,

  11. Barack is so stupid he thinks Bill Ayers is a good resume reference.
Barack is so stupid that he can’t listen to the first black president, Bill Clinton, who, while also stupid, is way smarter than he is.
Barack is so stupid that he STILL thinks there are 57 states.
Barack is so stupid that he HOPES to revive the HOPE of his campaign with voters who have now CHANGED to McCain.
Barack is so stupid that he thinks his party’s historical connection to the ‘KKK’ is some kind of triple chicken deal at KFC.

  12. Step 1: Read something with which you disagree
    Step 2: Become offended (again)
Step 3: Formulate the desire in your tiny, reptilian, Commie brain to do something about it.
Step 4: Come up with a really kick-ass comeback line…say, like…”You people are stupid idiots” or “You are all a bunch of bigots for not letting people who hate and defy your religion participate in your religious ceremonies”…you know; something like that.
Step 5: Be proud of yourself for standing up against the big, evil empire of people with real jobs.
Step 6: Realize that your screen name is something like “SeattlePansy” or “IHaveaTightButtox” or “MenSmellGoodLikeMusk2me” or something
Step 7: Choose, wisely, not to post and make yourself look like an ass.
Now why is step 7 so hard? Come on, now. This isn’t even fun! Are you guys even trying?

  13. Doc, apparently this is a bad day for the likes of “IHaveaTightButtox” (which is so hilarious that it renders his comment forgettable). Note to KOS visitors: DON’T PICK FUNNY NAMES! You won’t be taken seriously with names like: IHateBeavers, HuskiesHaveAnalSacks, McCainEatsPeople, PurplePalinLips, BidenNoStink… etc. Try names like LiberalsRock, ObamaCoolTool, BidenBadBoy…etc.

  14. Its not bigotry to oppose gay marriage. It is a concern about such a radical change to a fundamental institution in human society. The only way to find out, is to allow it and let the damage unfold. That sounds like a high price to pay for such an experiment.

  15. It won’t be long and the discussion about gay marriage will be a hate crime.
For the record, I’m against the state having any business sanctioning ANYONE’s marriage. That’s the way it used to be 150 years ago. Marriage is not the business of the state.

  16. Dear GorgeousinSeattle on September 15, 2008 12:53 PM you wrote about so-called intolerance, but:
I live in a very liberal place. We have a guy in the soprano section of our choir and when he tries to sing the high notes he shreaks so loud he sings WAY OFF key and oh it is thunderously funny but oh so terribly WIERD and unnatural. This is sad and pathetic. Can you see that?

  17. It’s interesting to me that of all the sarcastic, irreverent and somewhat bizarre posts and comments we have on this blog, the one’s causing the most troll behavior is homosexuality. I wonder why that is? Are trolls gay? Is that what makes them so terribly cranky and whiney?
It would explain why there are no baby or toddler, pre teen or adolescent trolls. They aren’t born that way. Another which came first debate.

  18. Well, I know why there are no seemingly gay conservative women, seamanhair. The reason conservative women are so “hot” (in the full, human sense of that word) is because of their BRAINS! As the brain goes, so goes the body. (Mine is shot, but I’m old and a guy, so I’m excused.)

  19. Hi Jimmy,
Are you saying, then, that you’d be in favor of a federal marriage amendment?
    Just curious about your thoughts.
Seanmahair good post. I have picked up on that, too. It’s why I keep going “there” with my responses. It’s also forefront on my mind because of Prop 8. My OB/GYN was sued for not impregnating a lesbian couple. She refused because of her faith but gave the couple the name/number of several doctors who would help them. They still sued. It went on for years and just ended in defeat for them. It was decided that gay rights trump their religious liberty. I also read of a NJ church that lost their tax-exempt status for passing on a gay wedding ceremony. And a photographer was fired for the same reason. In both cases the couples were referred to willing parties. I fear things will grow worse and Jimmy is right – pretty soon they’re going to bully us down. It’s a sad day when one must choose between his faith and his livelihood.

  20. Sulamie,
I agree in part. We will continued to be bullied into acceptance. However, it’s not like we weren’t warned about it. As far as choosing between your livelihood or your faith, there is no choice to be made.

  21. STARDATE 2734.3
    TERRA (IIN)
The IMAO Intergalactic Network reported today that decorated Starfleet officer Hikaro Sulu is to be prosecuted by court martial for “the Detestable Crime of Buggery in High Space.”
IIN reporter Frank J. VIII cited confidential sources within Starfleet Command that Sulu’s arrest is imminent. Starfleet officials would not comment publicly, citing Starfleet judiciary procedure.
When asked for comment, Sulu’s former commander, Adm. James Tiberius Kirk stated, “I always noticed that Sulu was very nervous when in close proximity to [Chief Communications Officer] Uhura or any of the yeomen, and he was often noncommittal when the rest of us commented on our approval of Starfleet uniforms for female officers. He also refused to take liberty when we stopped at Orion III to investigate the Orion slave trade and had to do some…errrr…”undercover” work. I guess now we know why.”
INN also contacted former Ship’s Surgeon Leonard McCoy, MD, for his observations. McCoy, however, refused questions and hung up after commenting, “Dammit, I’m a DOCTOR not a sex therapist!”
According to reports, this is not the first time Sulu’s conduct has been in question. INN has learned that Starfleet considered bringing charges against him following the suicide death of Commodore Matt Decker, with whom Sulu is alleged to have had a tempestuous affair that he had broken off the evening before. Starfleet declined to prosecute, however, citing lack of evidence and concluding that Decker’s “fragile emotional state” following the loss of his crew was to blame.

  22. #38 cowlove – “it’s not like we weren’t warned about it. As far as choosing between your livelihood or your faith, there is no choice to be made.”
I couldn’t agree more! In fact, those who defend parental rights do, too. They remind us that 25 years ago no one believed the homosexual agenda would become a threat to religious liberty (even though the warning signs were there, as you point out). It is the same with parental rights today. The warning signs are there. We have to act now.

  23. Our helmsman loves exotic plants,
And the plants all love him too.
He took some down on leave with him,
    We wondered what they’d do.
    The planetary governor called
    And swore upon his life
That a gang of plants entwined his house
    And then seduced his wife!
Now we’re banded from Argo, everyone!
Banded from Argo, just for having a little fun!
We spent a jolly shore-leave there
For just three days or more,
But Argo doesn’t want us anymore!
