In computer security, a honeypot is something made to look like a valuable part of a computer network to get a hacker to attack it, but is actually a trap meant to redirect hackers’ efforts from more vulnerable parts of the network. I see something similar at work with Christine O’Donnell. She has a number of vulnerabilities such as disgruntled former campaign workers and misspent campaign funds that speak towards O’Donnell’s trustworthiness, but the left isn’t focusing on that because they have the bright shiny things of her speaking against masturbation and saying she dabbled in witchcraft in high school to go after. The left like to ridicule — especially things they see as part of crazy right-wing morals — and there they go after the silly attacks instead of the real ones. And are people who would otherwise support O’Donnell because she’d vote for lower spending not going to vote fore her because she said she tried witchcraft as a kid? Maybe, but that sounds a lot like the patronizing predictions that people wouldn’t vote for Obama because his named sounded foreign.
Anyway, the attacks may hurt some, but the left could be doing a lot more damage than trying to find out if O’Donnell weighs as much as a duck. And it gives her more of a chance.
We need to setup Honey Pots for RINOs! Deep ones! One’s that they will fall into and die!

Jimmah, I think we have honeypots for RINO’s. Take amnesty for illegals, for instance. They can’t keep themselves away from it, even though most of the country doesn’t want it, and certainly no conservatives want it. The prob, as you point to, is that they don’t disappear once they fall in. I think we’re working on that.

I think O’Donnells’ early adventures in witchcraft could come in really really handy if she wins the seat. Think of all the unexplained goo appearing in Democrat offices and headless chickens nailed to their office doors. Heck, this sounds like a WIN/WIN!

Yep, we really need to be worried about O’Donnell. She’s nowhere near as sane and trustworthy as Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Charles Rangel, Stuart Smalley, Barney Frank, Harry Reid, John Kerry, Barack Hussein Obama, and all the other respectable heroes of the middle class American voter that are attacking her.
The most confusing and irreconcilable part is that she was for witchcraft but against wanking. huh???? There is something super seriously out of whack on that. Her belief system Bumper sticker:

-Does anyone remember the 2008 nominations where they all were petty bickering about who was the “real conservative.” Seriously it sounded like girls on the playground arguing over who the most real princessy princess was. It got so out of hand and caused so much confusion in the end from all that mess we got……………….. John McCain. I think history teaches us a great lesson here.

Chris Christie had a primary challenger to his right last year named, Steve Lonegan. To put it politely, Lonegan is not the most deft politician. If he had won the primary, he likely would have lost the election and the teacher’s unions would still be running New Jersey. Take an example from this year. Pat Toomey had a gadfly candidate to his right in Pennsylvania named Peg Luksik. Should conservatives have flocked to her candidacy, thrown away a senate seat and trashed Pat Toomey’s career? Of course, not–Toomey was very viable and Luksik wasn’t in the least. Practical politics is not a theoretical exercise. It involves terrain, personalities, timing and a whole host of other factors, and therefore–inevitably–the exercise of discrimination and judgment. I like setting up unsecured wireless access points and naming the network “Honeypot”. Then, instead of actually providing internet access, I just have the router redirect any web traffic to random sites I think are funny (if I’m being nice) or completely disgusting gross-out sites (if I’m being mean).
