I guess it’s kinda late to be asking this, but have liberals ever been clear on exactly what why they’re so scared of Palin? They seem to think she’s a crazed extremist, but I’ve never heard what exactly were the crazy extreme policies she had as governor that were so scary. All the Palin objections seem to be of the form of:
“If Palin were elected governor, she’d… uh… Palin us! And… uh… there’s… I think I read somewhere she doesn’t think dinosaurs are really old!”
The biggest reasonable objection I can think to Palin is that she doesn’t have much experience, but liberals can’t make that objection unless they first admit Obama is a huge disaster. There’s also how Palin resigned, but if people don’t like Palin they should like how she resigns public office.
Liberals were really sure Obama would be a smart, great president despite his having no accomplishments to suggest that and they’re sure Palin is a crazed extremists despite there being no evidence from her record in public office to suggest that. We really need to push liberals towards using for actual logic and evidence to reach conclusions instead of making conclusion based on what they really want to be true. Maybe we could get them to watch Mythbusters, though the explosions may scare them.
Liberals think all women should be liberals. All liberal women’s groups, like N.O.W., are liberals first and advocates for women second. It’s the same reason they hate blacks like Clarence Thomas and Thomas Sowell. Condi Rice gets a double dose of hate.
Liberals consider women and blacks their property. Any who escape the plantation are considered ingrates for not appreciating how much liberals have done for them and are vilified endlessly.
What do liberals fear about Palin? That’s an easy one. Liberals have a hard time trusting any woman that doesn’t have a desire to kill her own babies.
In order for liberal to succeed they must hold classes of people down. Palin represents a woman that is successful and yet desires to respect life, God, and marriage. The antithesis of what they feel a real woman should stand for. They fear her, because if young woman look to her as a role model, then their agenda will be crushed. Liberals need to have control over people, while people like Palin can think for themselves. That is what they fear a society of people who can make their dreams happen because of preseverance, instead of someone else deciding they are choosen to succeed.
I think they fear her hotness.
Liberals hate Palin because they can’t understand why conservative men aren’t trying to keep her in the kitchen and because she doesn’t get insulted when they open a door for her. It messes with their theory about how conservative men are keeping women “in their place” against their will and all that garbage.
They can’t understand how conservative women can be both strong, smart and pretty all at once and still have men respect them. Makes their heads asplode.
The Cat of Eternal Damnation does have a what I consider the bulk of the answer. Palin, Powell, Rice, Alberto Gonzales, et al represent existential threats to historical Democrat ownership of specific subgroups. The Democrat party would be massively weakened if there are defections from these ranks.
Palin represents a threat not only to groups Democrats claim to own, but she also shatters tropes that Democrats have used to keep those groups on the farm:
– She has had a successful career despite having a family
– She is proudly raising a Down’s child whom she decided not to abort
– She is very comfortable in a relationship with an obviously alpha male.
– She has risen to power without going to any of the right schools.
– She is intelligent while being very physically fit and attractive (note that liberals believe that a woman cannot be taken seriously for her intelligence if she is attractive.)
To top all of this, she is extremely charismatic, and her common sense tweets command tremendous national attention. Plus, she is impervious to liberal attacks, and instead of calling her teflon, I’d call her rubber because she uses attacks on herself to make her attackers look foolish.
Basically, as is true of Glen Beck, in order to support her, one must abandon a slew of liberal themes.
Let’s see. She can shoot and skin a Moose. She’s hot. She hasn’t had an abortion. The nation loves her. She could kick any liberal males butt with one hand tied behind her back. She’s hot. She doesn’t have hair under her arms and on her legs. She doesn’t wear earth sandals and wear a dowdy hair-cut obtained at the corner barber shop. She doesn’t have NPR stickers on her car. Her husband races snow mobiles and she thinks it’s cool! She’s hot!

Liberals really do fear Palin. I believe they fear her because, she appears so normal – except for her conservative views.
They therefore fear that you, little person, will listen to her common-sense statements and be swayed by them, to your detriment. All these years spent convincing you – the expenditure of thousands of hours of televison time, hundreds of pages of print , and untold billions of electrons – that the people who chant ‘Death to America!’ and who plant bombs whereever and whenever they can, are nice harmless people who should be given your sympathy and money.
Now Sarah says they really do want to kill you and we should try to stop them.

I have a well educated liberal friend who attempted to persuade me of the evils of Sarah Palin by sending me a warning that Ms. Palin had supported the hunting of wolves from airplanes. While I thought this similar to hunting Taliban by using drones, my friend thought this obviously showed that Ms. Palin couldn’t be trusted with (whatever we trust Joe Biden with) the duties of the vice presidency.
Speaking of hunting, when does it become open season on liberal media? I’d like to find Olbermann on the streets and just pelt him with paintballs.
Because they don’t know the difference between Tina Fey playing her on SNL and the real her.
And something about her making abortion illegal in Alaska and forcing women to have their babies.
And her pretending to be pregnant so that nobody would know that her daughter had two babies less than a year apart.
They’ve become less and less connected to reality, in other words.
Well, all that and because they’re told to by our political, social, intellectual and moral betters who all went to the right schools and live in the same neighborhoods and are all smart and stuff.

I’d like to see Palin debate Obummer. After the first insult, it would be cool for her to walk over and either kick him in the onions or give him a right cross and punch his lights out. Liberals fear Palin for the same reasons the elitists in the GOP hate her: she appeals to the regular folks.
The main reason liberals hate Palin is she never gives off a vibe of either hating or using men. Look at the hildabitch — after her mega-public humiliation she has every reason to hate men. And, the fact that the hildabitch’s hubby was just barely elected before she proclaimed, “we’re the president” damn sure proves she is willing to use men.
