Random Thoughts

Conservative politician is kind of an oxymoron.

The challenge for conservatives is to find someone excited for an arduous campaign so he can get in office and do nothing.

Obama is always talking about the jobs he’s saved and created, but how many jobs has he destroyed and prevented?

While Apple hardware is great, the iTunes software rivals any Microsoft product in being a buggy piece of crap.

Buttercup’s cutest smile is the mischievous one she gives right after she stops crying because she got her way.

Surprised Ocean Spray didn’t celebrate the election of Obama with a special flavor called “Yes We Cran”.

I just shot someone and it might be Qdaffy. What’s he look like again?

Lovely Sunday. I have so much to thank God for that it’s usually so much more efficient just to take it all for granted.

  1. Ah, but remember, folks, the Apple fanboys want us to believe that Apple is great and Microsoft is crap. Psshaw! Both companies are foolish monoliths who boss consumers around with differing strategies. Apple uses the fanboy technique while Microsoft whips you on the buttocks and calls your mama fat.

  2. “I have so much to thank God for that it’s usually so much more efficient just to take it all for granted.” A big AMEN!!! On second thought, my kids are/are becoming teenagers and are discovering the world in ways that were never available to me…Curse Al Gore and his Internets!! While I do have so much to thank God for, I also have so much help and guidance to ask for.

I’m going to go with somewhere on the order of 4 million. How did I arrive at this number, you ask? In keeping with the example set by the Obama adminstration on job numbers, I completely pulled it out of my butt.

Despite the source of my jobs number, I am more confident in the accuracy of my prediction of jobs destroyed or prevented by Obama than his number of jobs saved or created.

I wish! It is so much worse than that! Conservatives have to find someone who will fight an arduous campaign so he (she?) can dismantle his own power and the power of everyone around him. Politicians and bureaucrats don’t take kindly to that sorta thing. But take it they shall!

Did a gaggle of girls in camo jump you after you shot him?

  5. RANDOM THOUGHT:
Burger King is getting rid of the “King” in it’s ad campaigns, as they are changing their marketing approach after losing customers to McDonalds. According to USA Today, getting rid of the King is “the first of many steps to reinvent itself over the next year,” making its advertising target Mom rather than teens.

So all this time, “teens” were the target audience of a guy wearing a giant shiny freaky plastic king head with a frozen smile? Umm…okay

  6. Do you have to be an Orange Boner to be a Conservative? I don’t think so…Michelle Bachmann doesn’t look like one to me anyway and neither does Sarah Palin! Rick Perry might be one, though! Romney is just pathetic. Ron Paul…Squirell!!!

  7. the iTunes software rivals any Microsoft product in being a buggy piece of crap.

iTunes is horrible. And most talk radio iTunes subscription links are buried within the bowels of some Contact Us or Site Map headers or whatnot. And whatever happened to the mini taskbar mode? Oh, and if you ever hit “Genius”, be prepared to become a mega-genius as you try to figure out both the meaning of Life as well as getting iTunes out of Genius mode so it’s back to normal. (I had to uninstall & re-install.) (And re-find and re-subscribe all my subscriptions.) And all the play controls are in the upper right. What demon from the depths of hell birthed that genius idea?

I am going to have to call you a smart a$$ then. Several of the news letters that are sent to me range from a low of 3.5 mil to 8 mil + since 08

Maybe Ernie Loco is a wizard?
