Only Career Politicians Should Be President

I have the day off for Martin Luther King Day so I’m going to spend the day concentrating on not being racist instead of blogging, but I do have a new column in the New York Post on how we should only elect a president who hasn’t been sullied by working in a private sector, for-profit job.

Isn’t there something just so reassuring about a career politician? He has never worried about “profit” or “efficiency” or “success”; his every job has involved only helping people.

Read and be ensmartened.

  1. What’s especially funny about this whole Mitt Romney/job losses story is that some of the same people who complain that his company let jobs/failing companies go down are also people who complain about a “too big to fail”/bailout philosophy.

  2. Reading marxists gives an intelligent person a headache. Bush destroyed the economy so obsama had a 10% unemployment rate, so obsama kicked 3 million out of the job market through jobs losses and lies about the workforce and we are down to 8.5%! What a great presideident the marxists is!

Government workers should get two holidays: Independance day and Memorial day. The rest of us should get 9 or 10.

Why is Frank posting on a holiday? Must not be a racists. Wait, why am I posting on a holiday? Oh yeah its only a holiday for gubmunt parasites.

  3. No more Gubmunt holidays please!
Every time the bank where I work takes a day off, I take a day off (without pay).
OT/ I had a nice talk with my mom on the phone today.
She seems to favor Ron Paul in the upcoming election, which is a huge improvement over her last choice.
    Life is good!

  4. I think I’m endumbened a little after reading the article but it was funny anyway! I agree not greedy capitalist pigs in the White House…only big Gobment guys who like to spend money. Then someone will pay my mortgage and buy me gas and such!!! I’m so excited!!!

  5. Frank is starting to sound like a Romneybot. That’s cool.
Did anyone hear Newt say he was thinking about being a politician at 15 years old? I did, but I’ll leave it up to you to decide if that’s good.

  6. Ivan, our current prez wanted to be president in kindergarten or something — all that time to study and he still sucks at it. So I’m kind of ambivalent about Newt’s statement. All depends what you learn, I guess.

  7. I thought your article was comedy gold… and then I read the comments:

    ‘Stephanie Casey · · MSCC
How does someone like you even get a job as a writer? By the sixth paragraph you admit that you don’t know what the hell you are talking about by saying you don’t even know what a communiy organizer is. Shouldn’t you find this out before you start poppin’ off at the mouth? I didn’t even read any further…’

I find myself at a loss for words, or even insults with which to describe the weapons-grade level of ironically stupid present in this comment.
