Jay Costs asks: “Why is Obama’s fundraising so weak?”
And he’s got a whole article on it, but I’m only partially literate — plus reading makes me tired. But here are my guess on the answer:
* He’s been president the past four years.
* The conditions we have now are not something people want to voluntarily pay money to get more of. Quite the opposite in fact.
* Most of the people dumb enough to still support Obama are now jobless and have no money to donate.
* The main people who would think Obama is doing a competent job — terrorists who wish to destroy America — have also been having trouble raising funds lately.
* No, really, he’s been president the past four years.
Come on; what sick twisted individual looks at what Obama’s been doing and just hands over their money for more of it? The Joker is the first one that springs to mind. I hope we can make Obama disclose donors, because they need to be on an FBI watch list. And maybe have their assets frozen before that money hurts someone.
* The money’s being raised – it’s just that Michelle Obama is eating it.
That’s all I’ve got.

The ones that can legitimately view it as an investment. George Kaiser invested less than $100,000* in Obama in 2008 and got a 528 million dollar federal loan gaurentee for Solyndra from it structured in such a way that his 50 millionish dollars invested had precedent over the US treasury in the bankruptcy proceeding. A 50,000% return on investment is pretty darn impressive.
* Since Kaiser was a bundler the 100K might not even include a single penny of his own money, making the potential %ROI infinite.
I read that article. I am dumber for it. We might as well pose the ever difficult conundrum of why people don’t take advantage of their opportunities to purchase Chevy Volts.
He has already bled everyone who supported him dry.
