  1. Harry Truman kept a sign on his desk that said “The buck stops here”. The saying “the buck stops here” derives from the slang expression “pass the buck” which means passing the responsibility on to someone else. Our current president likes to be compared to other presidents because he is just so great. Anyone who knows anything about Truman and how he lived his life knows just how ridiculous it is to think Obama really wants to be compared to past presidents. If we had to put a sign on Obama’s desk it would say “I inherited the buck” or “The buck is over at the State Department” or “Buck? Is that some sort of racist term used by the tea party?”
