In what is simply a coincidence, I’ve been re-watching episodes of 
I have a slight quibble about this particular cartoon. While Michael Ramirez usually hits the mark, in this case, he’s slightly off. Obama shouldn’t be Will Robinson. He’s more Dr. Smith.
What do you think?
Dr. Smith was a paragon of integrity compared to Obama.
Remember, Dr. Smith was originally conceived as a foreign saboteur, whom Irwin Allen intended to kill off, but they decided to keep the character around for campy villainy and comic relief. Which gives us a window into what to expect after 2016.
Definitely Dr. Smith.
