Exports to China to Skyrocket

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched an organization called the “100,000 Strong Foundation” which aims to have 100,000 American college students studying in China by 2014.

I can’t believe she’s doing this. Chinese professors don’t know nearly as much as American ones about the virtues of communism.

The Overlooked (by the Left) Critical Fact About Mass Shootings

[High Praise! to Ace of Spades HQ]
_______________

The report (pdf) is worth a read to show just how little difference any of the proposals from the left would do to actually address the topic. This fact in particular just leaped off the page at me (“literally” as gun-grabbing Joe Biden might say):

“Typically, the immediate deployment of law enforcement is required to stop the shooting and mitigate further harm to victims. Typically, active shooter situations are over within 10 to 15 minutes.”

Let me rephrase that for you: “Typically, victims are sitting ducks for the 10-15 minutes it takes law enforcement to arrive.”

This is what happens when the government mis-focuses its crime prevention efforts on preventing law-abiding citizens from using firearms to defend themselves. When the left says, “the police are there to protect you”, what it really means is, “you’re expendable”.

Reminder: All the Left’s Outrage Is Faked. Always.

So the left immediately jumped on Palin blaming her for the Loughner because of a map she drew that Loughner never saw, but now someone shot up the Family Research Council and says it was because of a map the SLPC put out labeling it a “hate group,” and the left are… silent.

I’m getting tired of pointing out the left’s constant hypocrisy, so I’ll just say this a number of times until it sinks in:

All the left’s outrage is fake.

All the left’s outrage is fake.

All the left’s outrage is fake.

And the more outraged a liberal acts, the more he’s just trying to convince himself he’s not a sociopath. They scream about a statement about rape, but ignore actual charges of rape against Bill Clinton. They act horrified by waterboarding, but are “meh” about killing people with drones without due process. They act constantly concerned about racism, but cheer it on when it’s directed against Republican minorities.

Politics has rendered the left complete sociopaths. They are incapable of actual feelings outside of politics. If a liberal found out his family had been murdered, he’d have to find out the political party of who did it before he’d know how to react. “Oh, a Kennedy murdered them? Well, the Kennedy’s are great supporters of progressive causes and people get murdered all the time, so let’s not blow this out of proportion.”

Let this be a lesson for conservatives: Don’t be a sociopath; have many things in your life more important than politics. Or you’ll end up just like the liberals, even if spouting different views.

Obama Is Not Our Boss or Dad

So Chris Rock thinks Obama is sort of our dad and boss. Man, we really need to have a sort of national discussion on the relationship of the government to the people is in the United States of America. And Obama and that little twerp Bloomberg especially need to attend — but they won’t get to be a part of the discussion; they’ll just have to sit and listen as we explain things to them. Because that’s the first lesson on the relationship of government to us — we explain things to the politicians, and they listen, not the other way around.

Anyway, we need to get moving on this national “point of order” explaining what the government is and isn’t, because if lots of people think the president is the boss of the country, we’re going to have a lot of trouble in the future. The president is head of the government — which is the least part of the country. People not in the government do the important work, and the government just sort of sits on the sidelines — or at least it should, but instead it mainly gets in the way and impedes the important work. The government is full of idiots, and the president is thus king idiot. Luckily, he’s not in charge. And we need to keep it that way. We all want a free country, right?

Right?

My buddy Paul Mitchell says:

Call me kooky, but if gay men want to teach knot tying and go camping with young boys, why don’t they just advertise free camping trips for young boys? I am sure that most parents would be glad to let their boys go camping with gay men.

The Boy Scout Oath:

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Consider this post my effort to do a good turn daily.

Random Thoughts: Please Don’t Blow Us Up, Obama

Isn’t “the only defense for a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” basically the premise for every Hollywood action movie?

Well, I guess sometimes it’s “the only defense against a bad guy with kung fu is a good guy with kung fu.”

In America, the president isn’t supposed to be like a dad. He’s supposed to be like a butler we order to do the things we don’t want to.

The president isn’t the leader of the country; he’s the leader of the least part of the country: the government. He’s king of the idiots.

Being able to kill people without due process using drones is Obama’s main plan for making Obamacare solvent.

So Palin was wrong about the “death panels”; Obama has determined he has no need of panels to determine who will die.

For women, Obama wants equal pay, access to birth control, and to be able to blow them up when he deems necessary.

I am excited/apprehensive about the premiere of the new season of Community tonight.

The problem with Reagan is conservatives expecting a politician to swoop in and save them, sort of like the left looking for a new FDR.

Politicians aren’t the solution to our problems; politicians are the problem.

If Obama is our dad, maybe he’ll go to the store to get cigarettes and never come back.

Does the younger generation not know who Mr. T is? For the sake of the country, I hope that’s not true.

Maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to label everyone you disagree with a “hate group.”

It’s a Game of Drones and Obama is Joffery.
