Good News, California!

Despite the state of California teetering on the financial brink, Governor Jerry Brown is now proposing billions in new government spending.

Anyone else getting the feeling that sliding into the sea after a massive earthquake is beginning to look like a best-case scenario.

    And that’s not even the most laughable quote from the article, which explains,

    The governor has tried to maintain financial restraint even while acknowledging calls from unions and activists who want him to loosen the purse strings after years of deep cuts to social services and other government programs.

    Of course, by “deep cuts” they mean, “We didn’t get to increase spending by as much as we wanted to.”

    DOOM.
