….by having a climate that basically never changes, if they can do it, so can you.
There are other states like Hawaii? Granted, I haven’t been to all 57 of them but I always thought Hawaii was unique.
Of course Hawaii has to fight climate change, you know they occasionally still get snow there!
It’s ironic, the “danger” of GLOBAL WARMING™!!11!! is that the temperature will go up .8 degrees or whatever BS they claim, so there would be more places like…Hawaii…so why is this a problem again?
“… by returning the bad-luck tiki idol to the cave from whence it came. Despite the climate deniers out there who challenge the logic of this . . . ” #BerateyBunch
@5 that was the best Brady Bunch episode ever, Marsha in a bikini, woo hoo!
Energy sources (excerpts from Hawai‘i Dept. of Business, Economic Development and Tourism web site)
“Imported oil is used to supply about 90 percent of Hawai‘i’s energy needs. No place else in the United States is so critically dependent on imported oil. Unlike the Mainland, Hawai‘i can’t turn to neighboring states to make up for any temporary or permanent energy shortages. Unlike any other state, imported oil is the single thread that can completely unravel Hawaii’s future.”
Hawaii relies heavily on imported petroleum via its two oil refineries on Oahu. The petroleum is distributed to its petroleum power plants by sea and road, as no pipeline system exists on the Islands. Coal is also imported and burned at Hawaii’s sole coal-fired power plant on Oahu. These fossil fuels provided 86 percent of Hawaii’s electricity-generation needs in 2014.
Gee, you’d think the only state that’s anywhere near the equator would get 90% of it’s energy from SOLAR PANELS!!!11!!!11, sure seems like an ideal place for them…hmmm. So how exactly are they leading the alleged fight against alleged “climate change”?
“States like Hawaii are leading the fight against climate change” Cutting back on their major manufacturing and mining industries, eh? Or are they just sticking a big cork in their volcanoes??
