Something to keep in mind for the upcoming anti-Trump protests.
I must have missed that. I was out of the country,
I remember it. I graduated from high school about two weeks after that. To me, the most important thing is that Reagan trusted the police, highway patrol, and national guard to make the decisions as to what actions to take, and he was ready to back them. Big difference from say, Bill De Blasio. One of Reagan’s principles was that decisions should be made by the people closest to the situation.
