They already did, shooting someone for no reason has been illegal for like …250 years.
Ironically, it’s vastly Obama voters that do most of the shooting of people for no reason, why doesn’t he just threaten to shut off their EBT cards?

Gun violence is no different than any other violence. Punish the guilty appropriately. Punish them if they use a gun… or knife… or poison… or knitting needles…or tire irons.. or whatever. Gun Violence is like a hate crime, it is just semantics designed to make something that is serious enough seem more so and misdirect the attention of the people to a side issue which has nothing to do with actually stopping the main issue.
